Love hearing your view on expectations in golf, I think everyone gets blinded by them but golf is so much more enjoyable when you take a step back and realize just how hard this sport is.

A tip…i ran for years but like everything else “too much of a good thing…” and now my kness are cooked. So run one day but running brakes down therefore build your knees back up by biking every other day.

I don't like practicing on mats. I'd be striping it on mats and when it comes to hitting on grass, I'm not consistent. It's easy to make chunky shots look good on the mats.
That’s true! I don’t want to have to clean my clubs after every range sesh, plus our grass range can be pretty dicey at times. Also most of my range work is swing path or club face control, not really contact.

Your comments on expectations had me rolling. I've been playing way longer than you, I'm going to guess longer than you've been breathing. I've seen it for years. People who never practice at all, like ever, and they expect to shoot 65. Straight up acting like they're putting for Cadillacs. Slows the whole course down.
I was stationed at Bremerton and Everett, WA. Beautiful place. We used to play Legion Memorial Golf Course, Gold Mountain, and Rolling Hills Golf Course. Fun place
