Next time someone complains about restrictions on some cards, I'm gonna show them THIS card and ask them to repeat. It should work only with Dark Magician cards and nothing else.
Looking at the PPG tour most people didn't even open with magicians' souls. This just tells you that the deck can still go strong without it. I just hope they don't ban the card.

So magicians' souls spyrals opening without souls are better on average than non-souls spyral, because the former is basically like if you didn't run souls but had 37 cards.
Spyral is literally tsundere character deck, because you always checking your opponent deck, asking what top of his deck and then she become yandere when nibiru come down
This deck is thicc. I went to my locals couple of days ago and lost every dice roll. But that did not mattered at all. I kept chewing through 4 interruptions and still otked with sleeper and borrelsword. Every time I looked at my hand and was like, OK I think I can scoop cause to many negates. But I gave it a shot and was as surprised as my opponents that I managed to get to double Helix with knowing the top card of his deck after playing through a lot of stuff. They really hated me that day😅

@@Swagg0t it's more about forgetting the linkuriboh on field, and searching cave clash. Then not flipping the guru face up to at least have a disruption. Then searching umastryx, fpr whatever reason, but he now didn't use hidden city to banish the agent
He misplayed alot tbh. Never activate fiendess this early, searching cave clash instead of fiendess or battle,he flipped guru with city instead of just normal flip. Searching umastryx and forgetting to activate city to flip it.

And I flip summon guru before using City eff to flip it that way after u reset that same turn then u can use City eff on guru and have an extra disruption. Or using City to flip the Uma u just summoned to banish a monster. In short he used fiendess at the wrong time and didn't use city's effs optimaly. And searched the wrong things with guru.
I think the news to take from this as non-spyral players is that it is certainly beatable. While it is extremely powerful, it is not the tier zero threat it used to be. It is really only around the power level of last format's top 4, albeit with the crazy ceiling of a competent combo strategy. The end board's only omni negation is tri gate. Quick fix and master plan are mission critical. I think whats so frustrating about this format so far is that so many rouge options from last format aren't as viable against spyral, rather than the deck is too strong. Also this new format comes off the back of a format in which there were multiple top decks so it's been awhile since the meta was based around one or two clear top decks.
Spyrals is only the best right now because the banlist neutered the rest of the top decks. If the banlist didn't happen spyrals would probably be a tier 2 deck

This is why Yugioh should have set rotation. Any other game let’s you wait until awful decks are removed from the game, but decks like Spyral, Burning Abyss and True Draco just never leave.

I feel like it is when an old deck comes back a little relevant with a little help by konami like shaddolls in the future, burning abyss before konami banning any card that is good in that deck or how lightsworn was playable every format. That being said, spyral is just not fun to see playable. Spyral last resort combined with master plan is straight up +6 (3 trap missions, 1 spell misson, a spyral monster and last resort) without even counting the cards generated by its link summoning or other spyral cards. On another video people also birilliantly mentioned how terrible the archetypes has been ever since we got dingirsu and salamangreats. The only decks I see potential to be rogue (after eternity code): generaids. Dragonmaids, and madolche. Also, once we get dragoon of red-eyes and predeplant link, we will have another top deck.
The no mischief of the time goddess is unfair. I swear. Why must basically all other dueling simulators have it but this, Percy, the supposedly best one. Sigh. They could do better. I love Percy but still.
