I'm starting to notice that you sound less enthused with every "it's consistent" you give a deck.
You turn 1 crimson nova'd, you never turn 1 crimson nova.
Also extravagence > desires. Your deck having targets is way more valuable than trying to link climb. Also also called by the grave helps, having karma get negated hurts if not makes you lose outright.
The intro skit being rectangular instead of perfectly square is the biggest disappointed of my year thus far.
This is my favorite deck of all time, and I play it competitively. I use Magical Hats in the main going first. It helps me turbo the Cubic cards I need to send to the grave. I also use the link ladder to set up going first if my combo isn't stopped. My main goal is to get my invite in the future with this deck. Thank you for showcasing the deck.

@@jameszetterman4487 It's a player preference, and I won't pick one. To each their own. The card is useful in the deck, and players can play any kind of cards they choose to play.

To see Exciton Knight just casually being at three and barely played is just jarring. I remember when that card came out and it literally warped a format, weird times man...
Power creep is a thing, there’s cards more powerful than it like evenly matched. Don’t get me wrong exciton knight is still a blow out card but not as meta defining as back then.

I’ve played cubics casually for quite a while and although this list seems pretty nice, I think that you should play every cubic at 1 except Dusa, Nova and Vijam who are at three. The spells are all 3 ofs and ascension is a 3 of as it is a great recovery card. Souls is good but can sometimes be the card that you topdeck and can’t Nova. Cubic Casualty is worth a 1 of and also, desires isn’t that great as it’s just another target for ash. If like me you play the other cubics, then called is useful as it stops the cubics from being rendered useless. I definitely think foolish goods is a great choice and I also think that Crimson Trinity is better than you give it credit for (I play it at 2) and although you don’t always summon it, if you can get in on board it’s basically game. The links are useful as your ascension copies are basically recover then make borrelsword or soldier of chaos (for beat power). Hope this feedback helps if anyone plans on playing Cubic In future.
LordFerid I agree with this for the most part, a suggestion I give to everyone that I don’t see at all is playing speedburst dragon in this deck. It makes Nova 10 times more lethal.

I vehemently disagree with running each monster at one, and running three ascension and causality is not the best idea.
Honestly, most builds I see are monster gate builds that just let you go plus 20 and turning off their whole board with waves and killing with nova or a link climbed boss monster. The only other cubics that are good are indoria and buster gundil, as they can revive your Duzas once they are send to the grave by your opponent. Also, Guile is great to start up a unification chain
CaptinHavoc1 I can see your point. Speaking from personal experience however, Is where I explained my list. It’s always worked for me, but the monster gate build sounds nice. I’ll definitely try it.
I have been playing the deck for a long while now, and my deck (though not perfect) runs and Impressive set of cards that cover Alot of ground. The New support is a Godsend for The Cubic Deck and it just a absolute Beast. For me, I went with an Effect Damage Build of this sucker with 1 of each Cubic Kings, though I also sided and extra Gire Guile and one Buster King Guilndi as an additional out.
Since I don't have the super consistent magicians, I instead placed in 3 Summoner Monks, 2 Speedburst Dragons, and 1 Ally birdman for a tricky combo that I like to play when I have 2 Gire Guiles.
Other than the Mandatory Spells, I have Raigeki, and 2 Super-Poly that help punish my opponents for extending.
But my Deck is all about summoning Nova quickly, and damaging my opponents hard, when and if Speedburst hits the hand, I usually have him hit my opponent after Nova's End Turn burn as he can Special Summon himself and add additional burn onto the 3000 I just did! The Speedbursts are also Switchable with Causality and an extra Ashension since this cards are really useful.

Really enjoyed the video. Probably my biggest problem with it was the number of XYZs in the extra (also having that god awful fusion in the extra). Two links that you were missing and could have made a huge difference were Pentastag for piercing damage and Cross-sheep to help you extend plays.
Game 1 againist Dolls: You knew the set was something that didn't harm the game plan of attacking with nova, so I think is was probably wrong to lightning storm. IMO better way to play it would be instant fusion in case they go into winda, then summon souls to cycle the two lightning storm, at that point you can then normal duza and try to get to a nova for game.
Game 2 against loli plants: Going first, I think it would probably be better to just normal summon duza and send unification which would prevent you from dying and still keep your hand intact. In turn 3 you forget to use souls's effect to draw 2 and if you would have drawn wave or instant fusion, you could have won the game. Even if you didn't have game that turn, turning linkurboh into secure gardna to prevent taking 3k damage would have probably won you that game too.
Game 3 against orcust you misplayed by not using dharma to send uni to grave before attempting to use duza's effect but, you were probably doomed anyway.

Banning horror didn't exactly make other parts of the decks worse, it just slowed the thing down a bit.
Jokoko2828 bannin harp not only decreased consistency, but also made it harder to use topologic gumblar, made it more susceptible to hand traps when you mainly have to focus only on knightmare, and decreased the recovery of the deck after the first turn.

Ive found some fun results mixing cubics with invoked and shaddolls. Makes the would-be useless monsters have a purpose as fusion materials, and their fusion spell lets you turbo out the cubic fusion as well. The new support only helps.
Your Ascension didn't activate because your LP being almost the same as your opponent's, not because all Seeds were in the GY.... or at least, that's what it looks like to me. xD

I'd recommend Not playing ascension at all, no instant fusion and only 2 Dharma. So you have 5 spots free. Add 3rd unification and 3 ash blossom. Then cut one desires and add 2 handtraps of choice (at the Moment i am testing 2 D.D. Crow or 2 Ghost belle)
In the extra Cut the 2 Instant Fusion Targets and add I:P and Apolousa, Cut secure gardna for avramax.
Test it like this and i bet you will see more success 😁😁

This sounds horrid tbh. I don't understand why people refuse to run more of the cubic traps and spells. They have singlehandedly won me games in multiple scenarios by either bricking an opponents field, securing an OTK, or saving a bad turn 1 or going into turn 3. The cubic counters are this deck's saving grace and act as better forbidden droplets that force the opponent to throw away their built up field. You don't need handtraps when the deck has better counters built in and your boss monster doesn't care what's on the field. The only major threat is a large enough appolousa but she can't stop cubic counters so she folds almost immediately if you have wave in hand or the grave. The easiest way to do this is by using reasoning and dumping your deck into the grave, or a calculated foolish burial goods.
The battletraps are situational, causality is by far the best with it being a forbidden droplet that no monster is immune to as it doesn't target and no monster is immune to counters as it's not a card effect but the effect of the counter placed on it. It's also useful in the grave as you can then target your nova and everytime it destroys a monster you deal burn damage equal to the monsters original attack. That 3200 appolousa that got cubic waved and then a counter placed on it is now a guaranteed OTK target.
Mandala and rebirth are very situational at best. But if they do go off, they usually win the game by themselves or stop your opponent from killing you that turn, or if you're really lucky, get a buster/indora on the board for your opponent to crash into and set up for a properly summoned buster or 3 vijams and whatever card you need in hand next turn to win. At worst they are extra cubic cards in hand for Nova to be summoned without searching. The less searching we do, the better.
I tend to run 1 copy of each aside from causality which flip flops from 1 to 2. Ascension is always at 3 as it facilitates an OTK the next turn with buster or at worst is free vijam on the field. Fusion is at 3 for link climbing and safer turn 1's. All spells are 3 for obvious reasons. They search and place cubic counters and add damage. They are necessary and are never dead in your hand.
All burn cubics are at 1 along with 1 buster as he's our best monster to OTK outside of Nova should we have too few cards in hand but enough cubics on the field.
As for cards outside the archetype I run 2 foolish burial goods and 3 reasoning to dump spells and traps for free as they are all useful in the grave, and get a free vijam or duza out of our opponent guesses wrong. 2 pot of extravagance as we don't care about our extra deck at all, and 2 lightning storm and a harpies feather duster to clear the back row as that is the only real threat most of the time. We want our opponent to have monsters that Nova can beat over. And 1 forbidden droplet for any really problematic monsters on the field over 3000 ATK, or preventing us from summoning and also sending a spell/trap to the grave.
I have found this to be incredibly consistent and allows you to have lots of outs and survivability plays should things go south, as well as helping secure OTK's.
Not sure if it's just a running gag at this point, but saying it's consistent has lost all relevance. Most decks have some sort of game plan at this point. It might be more relevant to mention if a deck is not consistent.

If you activated Dharma to dump the Unification first, then NS Duza, you could have activated Unification in grave to get another Duza to mill Karma. It only depends on what your opponent decides to "Ding". But if you drew Instant Fusion off Dharma and your opponent was willing to blow Ding on that, then you could have used Karma to search Nova. Summon Nova use Wave on Nova and that would be game.
Why is this age restricted? I play Cubics IRL so this really triggers my curiosity...

2:42 so you say, but I still see 1 Cubic that should never be in the deck period. 3:22 did you just lump in Buster Gundil and Indiora Doomvolt with Geira Guile? Thems fighting words, guy. Initial response out of the way. I actually like the way you incorporated the magicians as a tech. The deck looks as consistent as you say, but it also looks like there was way too little you could do. You also give Indiora and Buster way too little credit. Their ability to recur your other monsters (especially when combined with Unification) is usually the biggest pluses the deck can do, and since their effect triggers even on tribute by opponent, there usually isn't a lot the opponent can do to respond. Top all this with some well teched Necrofaces to return all of your banished cards and you have a deck that can keep fighting the good fight against a lot of forces. Still, I can see what you were going for and it looks like a really fun build to try.
well, if you play the lv6 performage instead of aprentice you can make their oponent start at 3000 instead of 5000

I haven't even been playing my cubic deck for very long and even I could tell that this was a shit deck.
The chances of all 3 Vijams being banished out of the 33 cards left in deck when using Desires was 2.2%.
My Desires are in the top percentage of all Desires.

Just wanna point out, any deck wanting to play Magicians Soul might as well play 1 to 2 copies of Dark Magician and any dark dragon monster like Destrudo giving you more options. You can SS Souls, and be able to utilize Anaconda to summon Dragun in virtually any deck. Would only take up a minimum 6 or 7 slots. Otherwise, nice tech with Souls in Cubics. And after this Cubic sh!? I wouldn’t be surprised with what comes on the next F/L list

I will say this deck is bad. Not the archtype, just the deck. I'd highly advic NOT and I mean NOT go the otk rout. Go the burn rout. It works 100% better. Better hands, better boards, and just overall better stun.
