Hope your move is going well! Fun and overwhelming at the same time. I had moved when my youngest was very little and she kept crying the first few nights wanting to go home (but we were home). Thankfully with her toys around her and playing inside the boxes it got better. ❤

Thanks for sharing this. Over the past 6 months I’ve gotten into reading more women’s fiction and/or contemporary romance and I do really like it for a quick easy read especially after I’ve finished a heavy book. I also think they will be great for the summer!

I am the same way with Sophie Kinsella! I started listening to her because of one of your videos. My favorites are also I've Got Your Number and My Not So Perfect Life. So cute! They cast the audiobooks so well too!! Love your channel!

I read The Unhoneymooners and Well Met (which I loved) and needed another chick lit/romcom - whatever you'd like to name the genre. I was so happy that I'm a subscriber to your channel and had someone to turn to for a recommendation. I ended up picking up The Simple Wild, which I read in about 24 hours and just started rereading again. This is definitely my favourite book I've read this year. Ive ordered copies for my friends to read. I started following the author on Twitter and Instagram (she's writing a sequel!). All this to say thank you for the content you make. I'm love your videos and can't wait to see what you come out with in the future 💕

This is a great list! I’m actually kinda new to this genre but recently have been discovering a lot of these authors you mentioned. I’m currently reading the day in December book. It’s so good! Ages ago I tried some Sophie Kinsella and absolutely couldn’t stand her writing, so I think that has steered me away from this genre. But... I’m happy to say that the others I’ve tried in the genre have been very good. Of the ones you mentioned, I’ve also read Bride Test and really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely have to try some more of these!

I love Sophie Kinsella! Her books make me laugh out loud & her writing inspires me. I wonder if you have heard of Jane Heller? I’ve only read a couple of her books, but she has a book called ‘Some Nerve’ that I feel like you may like. I read it a long time ago, so if you don’t like it...I apologize in advance. She also wrote a book called ‘Best Enemies’ that I liked. They are older books, but this chick lit theme made me think of them. I want to go back & reread them myself. Let me know if you try them...or have read them. I put ‘Attachments’ on my reading list. That sounds super cute! 😊📚✨

Aka the genre that always stumps my bookstore. Some are in Romance, some are housed in Literary Fiction, they are always the hardest to find, drives me nuts lol!

I just started The Unhoneymooners. Literally only the first few pages. I'm reading it in between dense fantasy series. It is so outside my genre, so I'm a but eh about it, but i think if i give it a chance, i will love it! I also have Josh and Hazel Guide to Not Dating on my shelf. Got it from book outlet for only a few bucks!

Taylor jenkins reid's best book is called daisy jones and the six . this about a fictional band in the 1970's
The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella is my favorite laugh out loud book of all time. Check out Miriam Keyes. If you have not read the Bridget Jones books by Helen Fielding they are hilarous. Also- check out the author Cecilia Ahern, specifically her book Rosie Dunne. (This is also a movie called Love, Rosie starring Lily Collins that is currently available on Netflix. I liked the book but I loved the movie!)

I am glad you reminded me of how much I like Sophie Kinsella's books! I have read a couple of the shopaholic ones (or a few) and I need to revisit the series and read some of her other books. Do you have any suggestions of chic lit without a ton of sex? I mean some scenes throughout a romance are a given but I don't need the excess. For instance, I love Jasmine Guillory's "The Wedding Date" and love her writing style but thought there was overkill on the sex scenes.

The only one I have read on this list are: the kiss quoitent, and one sphoie kinsella book (Finding adurey) I also read daisy jones and the six and didn't really loved it. I'm dying to read christina lauren this month. I have josh and hazel, and autoboyogrpahy on my tbr for june. I have rwarb on my tbr as well! I have a ton of new books too read!(:

I'm typically not a chick lit reader but some of these books are definitely on my TBR list. I think part of my hesitation for most of these books if that I don't want to read erotica. Nothing wrong with erotica but not really my thing.
