I wonder what made the band decide to make an entire album based on the American West? This album is a great example of how to incorporate different styles into your music, anyone will have to acknowledge that it takes allot of TALENT to make something like this. Congratulations to Volbeat on making a phenomenal album, Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Lady's is a fantastic blend of styles. to be able to pull off something like this is incredible, absolutely love this album and this song in particular. May they keep making more awesome music like this for years to come.
Outlaw Gentleman & Shady Ladies is still Volbeats best album IMO. Every song has a good tempo, whether it be fast, thrash type. Lyrics tell a story that create a scene in your head of what he’s singing. Dead But Rising & Doc Holliday are my favorites from the album.
Seen them in Denver, Broomfield(suburb of Denver), Colorado Springs,Austin, Dallas(2 times), San Antonio, Houston. Moving to Tennessee and planning on a few more shows in the southeast. when they come around.

The guitar tone, tempo changes, and drumming style all sound a lot more like Slayer than Metallica, but it definitely gets that thrash metal vibe.
