lmfao, "step 4, repeat steps 1 through 3 9,999 times" lol im sooo scared of heights, fair play to them! XD looks awesome up ther :)
Congratulations! This is my favorite supertall building.
Wow, that's intense.
You can't pay me enough to do this job. I'm terrified of heights.
loved this! Watched it on Nova last night. Those people deserve every cent they get!
Leighanne Garrick the workers on’t get pay that much, it is in the communist China.
i must admit this is a great skyscraper. i admire china alot. yet again im american i have ALOT of pride and love new york etc. im sad that many americans are ignorant and do hope for a strong allience with china to creat greater cities and a greater world
Can't wait for Shanghai Tower to reach that stage!
Go Shanghai!
Excellent, hard job.
Awesome
This is one of the best skyscraper in the world.
Jeez! I feel sorry for those window installers. . that looks tough.
thanks Jackie Chan your a great translator 2:15
my legs got weak lloking at how high it was on the screen!
lol
i'd fall!
@ILoveGoodFellas There is a lot more work to do after constructing the floors.
Windows, wiring, decorating, furnishing etc.
They did it well.
the only thing i am worried about is typhoons season.
i think we should move to Shanghai.
Thats the Jin Mao Tower, which is also the tallest hotel in the world. Jin Mao Tower is taller than the Empire State building.
You know, people used to be embaressed to say hey come from Pudong, it was marsh. Now everyone wants to brag that they live in Pudong. All that change in 20 years flat
thats some scary shit...90+ floors.....damn
They should make a building shaped like beer twice as tall next to it to see if they can beat Dubai. :P
Yes, we really do! And not only "capitol of Asia's economy", but soon to be "capital of World's economy".
lol'ed at step 4 =D
imagine being afraid of heights and installing the windows.. lol
I live near this thing.. Shanghai is going to have a weird "diverse" skyline in the future
@ladhkay Wow,I want to be an architect too,so I go back to Shanghai soon.
indeed looks like a bottle opener.
there were talkign about the windows
big develop....
Shit. These buildings are getting taller and taller every year. We will soon be in the clouds at this rate. lol
LOL. kudos!
That's the most intelligent comment I have seen on youtube today.
It was not chinese architects who built SWFC, it was the american architect firm Kohn Pedersen Fox accosiates.
@jdmoney86 very true indeed
I admire china for its latest engineering marvels
My dad is one of the architects for this building
Think it's way behind schedule.
@blackflag1217 Yes but in the last ten years they have taken more people out of poverty than the entire population of the USA. Look at what China was 20 years ago, and what they are now. Poverty was 85% in 1981 and in 2005 it was 16% i find that amazing.
Amazing that its now not the tallest anymore !!
111danish111 it never was the tallest, he said it's the 3rd tallest in the world
I meant its not the tallest building in China anymore . It was tallest only 10 years ago and now its the 4th tallest in China .
Well, yeah. It used to be 3rd tallest building in the world (now 9th tallest building in the world) and tallest building/structure in China. Shanghai Tower is now the tallest building in China and the 2nd tallest building in the world.
@ladhkay HEY! my 2nd cousins uncle is one too!
@willy1304 :) Funny, I just get dizzy looking at this thing, Shit ...that thing is high... :)
Um why do i feel like im gonna fall over?????
naw, actually that be pretty fun. LOL.
Its about the quality not the quantity lol
Hope it's finished befor the olympics :->
2019?
@djmz1969 Buy a parachute with an engin on your back ha xD
You'd get paid a fortune
@blackflag1217 Yes they are still very poor, a lot of people are suffering from malnutrition.
u want my honest opinion? YES.
It looks like a gigantic bottle opener. Just kidding...
The stronger we get, the closer we get to obliterating ourselves.
idk about that japan is the most technological country in the world, higher than America and Russia.
jackie chan can do a movie or stunt all the way or the top
@LiangHuBBB
and i wanna be an engineer ;)
perhaps we could work together some day lol
all that fucking is paying off
@mtakumah Dude don't write things like that, you're just gonna create hate. And No, I'm not actually American... I just don't like people who write provocative stuff...
Yeah people in China are poor, but so are people in the U.S. and other countries. The Asian people make up the real labour and work.
@Garfieldeje we have enough peaple to build it so why waste money on robots when we can just give people jobs
im proud to be chinese
And it is now, mostly empty.
Really?
disgusting, I don't think there is enough air to pollute if they put up another building.
Since when did Cantonese become the local dailect???!!! What happen to the local Wu chinese dialect!! Shanghaiese?!
This won't continue. China will slow down and settle into a more stable growth cycle, similar to most developed western nations today.
wow i thought china was a third world country. now their building this?
You live under a rock or something? Yokel.
IDo You Eat Poo.Dung?
I sure hope this building isn't made of structural steel and re-enfored concrete. If it ever catches on fire, it might fall down like the WTC on 911.
INFOWARS DOT COM
no one cares
