For 1 cup of dry rice use 2 1/2 to 3 cups of water. Measure water accordingly for 3 cups of rice

1.8 l should be sufficient for 6-7 people, though it depends on how much rice each eats. It can cook around 1kg rice.

Sorry for delayed response, body to heat hoti hai isliye handle sei pakadna chahiye, first time use pe smell aati hai ya nahi mujhe yaad nahi waise body mei se smell nahi aati. Dhyan rakhiyega Iss kei heating element pe pani na jaye. Agar problem continue hoti hai to aap online purchase per replace kar sakte hai ya inn ke customer care pe contact kar sakte hai. Instructions manual sei bhi aap ko kafi information mil jati hai usse bhi padh lei.

Mei imagine nahi kar pa rahi ki aisa kaise ho sakta hai, pan toh aluminum ka hota hai wo kaise heating element sei chupak sakta hai. Pan aur base mei toh side mei kaphi gap hota hai. Aap usko kissi electrician ko dikha dei agar aap sei nahi nikal raha hai .

Just place the trivet in the empty cooking pan , on the trivet it is written “this side Up” then put rice on top of the trivet and then pour water. Never pour rice and water together.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I have never cooked so much rice but I think it may take around 45-50 minutes. The rice cooker goes in the warm mode by itself when the rice is cooked.
