Buddy, just something to consider...In the prime Summer months on a Sunday, many are engaged in some type of family, friend or social event...I would suggest Monday evening at 7:00 pm...Most are home and availablebm on a slow work night.
Sorry, I missed this live discussion. I've seen a proposed trade, Trouba (2x$8M) for Marner (1x$10.903M). It is an interesting scenario. I think it benefits both teams. TOR sheds $2.903M in cap this year and gets a top 4 RD. NYR gets a 1RW and can trade him at the deadline if needed. Marner's contract expires after next season, so they'll have some cap to re-sign/extend some core players next year. It's a no brainer for the NYR, but maybe not for TOR. Your thoughts?
I would rather trade Trouba for Jay Buhner. He had over 30 homeruns and 100 RBIs last year. He’s got a rocket for an arm.
@@mondoseguendo6113 As long as Trouba's $8M cap hit is gone, sounds good to me. Used to be a Mets fan, but don't follow baseball that much anymore. Baseball is like watching paint dry most of the time.

I think that The Rangers should trade Jacob Trouba, if he'll OK it, to Columbus for Patrik Laine in A Package Deal (it'd be the Exchange Of The $8M/yrs Players, that aren't wanted by their current teams). It gives both A Fresh Start, even if it doesn't work. Let me know what you think

Every mistake, every turnover, especially if it leads to an opposing goal will lead to certain fans making sure Trouba knows it and will try to run him out of NY. It will be miserable for him.
Too bad. If he was playing like an $8 million a year player he wouldn’t have to worry. He has to have some self awareness to realize he’s being grossly overpaid and that his contract is holding the team back.
Why is it you fans always seem to want a bunch of deals at the deadline when you OVERPAY for these players and about 90% of these deals DON'T WORK OUT. This team has been doing this crap for 30 plus years and you people seem to think giving a way young players and draft picks works! How many cups do we have in 83 years? ONE! Learn this doesn't work and stop always wanting to get the best toy in the store
