It's amazing how far you can get with some diffusion and negative fill!
I love these types of breakdowns!
Thanks for the feedback! Would love to make more of these videos in the future
It is such a challenge to keep needing to adapt to the changing lighting and clouds, great job!
Hi Keith, great video. I really enjoy the way that you approach creating your videos. It is extremely easy to follow and helps creators like myself to replicate a look that I may need in the future!
Thanks for the kind words - really enjoyed making this style of video, want to make more of these in the future!
This is great! I survived a news photography career using light modifiers, lol.
For sure! You can do a lot with just modifiers
Yes! Love this breakdown and super impressed with your compositional smarts.Would love to see more videos like this if you get the chance - I know a lot goes into them.
Thanks, Mark! I need to find a BTS shooter to make this process easier, or just setup a gopro to the side and break down whats happening after the shoot. Still figuring out the best way to make these videos, but will be making more!
Lookin good brah
Thanks man!
Did you know in advance that you would be using the negative fill, or did you just make that decision after seeing how the sunlight looked?
I like to bring that floppy/bounce with me just in case I need it. Its nice to have in a pinch and after setting up the shot, seeing the flat image of the clouds covering the sun, I brought out the negative fill to help remove some light
I never rest the full weight of my camera on top top of a good lens like that. But that's just me.
