honestly, the part where Varuca Salt falls to her death was by far the most brutal of them all. because of just how sheer real it is. the physics, the weight, accidents like that absolutely can happen, and there's just something raw in that moment that felt so eerie.
Edit:
to save time having to explain my point: i'm not saying that Varuca's death was *the* worst, but perhaps the most realistic i should've said. the other kids suffered scary fates, but Varuca's stuck out more because of how real it felt, and how it has happened in real life more often than not.

In the movie Willy Wonka is really a psychopath. After the kid gets sucked up into the tub. They get on a boat which only has enough chairs for those to get on it. He knew that he was going to kill off these kids one by one
DaVinci 3 I mean the plot of the original movie was to find a successor, so not too surprised on the boat’s seat numbers
It's basically Saw for Kids, each "imperfect" victim is disfigured/killed in a way that reflects their "impurity", and one of the people tested becomes a successor/apprentice

@Gemtem realistically speaking, the second they saw Augustus' head explode they would have turned on Wonka and at least try to kill him and escape. That they only reacted mildly really broke my SoD. At least with the Home Alone one, it was believable.

Ironically, in this version, the Tunnel is the only part of the factory which is normal, perfectly harmless and isn’t trying to kill your ass.
