@Altai Lusarreta BareaFor one thing, modern action scenes are full of short cuts to disguise poor choreography and confuse what's actually happening because it doesn't make any sense when you lay it out. Such a great scene - took both Eggsy & Harry to take out Mando, I mean Whiskey. Plus, a country-western version of "Word Up???" I STILL can't get over that one! Every time Mando takes off the helmet, I end up watching this movie, LOL!!!
You have to remember that Whisky did not "take both of them on" nor was he better than the both of them combined - he put up a damned good fight, but remember, with all the slo-mo and action shots, this fight takes place over the course of about 30 seconds, which is all it took for two Kingsman to completely deconstruct him and put him in a blender with minimal damage (except the pan) - thats by NO means saying Whisky was shit, he wasn't - compared to a regular man, who would have lasted about 2 seconds, 30 seconds seems almost superhuman, but you can't say that Whisky was superior to the two of them. By the end of the fight, neither Eggsy nor Harry are in any bad condition, and most of the fight is Whisky fighting defensively, trying to get the upperhand whilst getting hammered. Harry seems calm and collected, and in every scene where he and Whisky are in a fist fight, he looks in complete control and seems to be doing it effortlessly. Whisky certainly seems to be getting the better of Eggsy in their fist fights, but its a fair trade off, and both Harry and Eggsy are fatigued from fighting the guards - yes, Whisky is recovering from a headshot wound, but so is Harry and Whisky came equipped with a series of fancy gadgets. Harry even had the wherewithall to save Eggsy a few times from Whisky's admittedly clever counter attacks. It was never a matter of whether Whisky would lose or not, simply a matter of WHEN he would lose - he was outmatched, but put up a damned good fight.
He’s called “Whiskey” for a reason. First of all, his real name is Jack Daniels. Secondly, just like real whiskey, he starts out weak and gets stronger over time.
