People seem to have very unrealistic expectations for a 12v vacuum. Its not meant to be used to clean a car thats been neglected and left for months at a time.if you look after your car then using this every week or so will prevent you needing to bring out the main household hoover. Its a very good 12v hoover if used as intended

keep in mind it's 12v. anything higher and you're gonna blow fuses. you want stronger suction? get a wall plug in vacuum

to be honest, even though it didn't leave the carpets and mats spotless, what came out of it and the filter is astonishing. after emptying it and cleaning the filter, I'd hazard a guess that it would pick more up on a second run. I am really tempted. My vehicle isn't that dirty and I only want it to occasionally get crumbs off the seats.

Nice job, thanks for this video, this is exactly what I was looking for. The before and after segment appears like a fail. But, it's a whole different story at the end when you removed the filter. The amount of dirt the product managed to suction off the carpet is impressive. The filter also did a great job of preventing dirt from penetrating. Overall, I think this B+D is a good product for it's price. Definitely better that many no-name Chinese products flooding the market. Overall this product sucks ... but in a good way.

He asked an awful lot out of that vacuum but a nice carpet brush will loosen up all that embedded junk first and then you can suck it all up together.

I used the house Hoover. Cleaned it perfectly. Now use this every few days to pick up any loose crap. So I'll never let it get in a state again haha
These little vacuums are great for maintaining. They're not really for heavy duty cleaning. But they do the job though. Had a different one for years until it died. I just bought this one. My car is pretty clean, but my side has gravel and dirt I pick up from my job's parking lot. So this will do just fine

It's a 50/50 it cleans but more effort then I can actually be bothering to .would I use it . probably yes
where the "after" means "not quite there" & something more is needed...maybe more frequent cleaning before getting at that situation..as a product though, it should be worth it. Thanks for the video

I wouldn't give it a 5 star review but I guess it's ok. Personally if I'm going to take the time to hoover my car I'm going to want something with more suction so I'm having to do it more frequently.

Suction appears to be lacking.
I purchased a Shark Rocket corded hand vac and it is amazing ! And it also comes with the crevice device AND a motorized head unit with beater bar that works great on flat areas such as floors, trunks, cargo.....
Being corded has pluses and minuses.....but the cord is long and there are also extension cords you can hook to to get longer reaches.
Suction is phenomenal on the Shark Rocket hand vac.
Wull.pass on this lightweight, low performing unit.

I don't know your experience with the black and decker flex but it works great for me.that shark may be good but I went with this vac and am pleased
Might be a old video this. But yes this vacuum sucks. If the engine isn’t on. Turn the engine on and dsmn, it’s better then the one you use in your house.
Did not Get a power cord to work in the car.

hi there, it still left a lot behind. I use a Morrissons savers compact cylinder cleaner, it wasn't £55 either and it has loads more power.
Does it plug into the wall or 12v in a car, because if not that is hardly a comparison.

First thing is: IF YOUR CAR engine not on, High chance to drain your battery 🙂
Second :
Best if you buy 2 or maybe 3 type of hard brush. Bigger brush and small one which is can reach tight spaces on your car.
First just brush the dirt and debris in the middle and buy cheaper Cordless hoover to hoover up what you brushed
