    Beer that Bjørn was drinking was a Finnish version of Kvass (popular in Russia, the Baltics, Belarus, Ukraine, and Poland) that is a fermented cereal-based low alcoholic beverage with a slightly cloudy appearance, light-brown colour and sweet-sour taste.

      @aarong9378 Před rokem +2

      In south Texas, you can regularly see temperatures of 40°C and 60% humidity at the same time. Definitely a stress test for the charger AND the cooling system in the car. My Niro EV sounded like a hovercraft while charging at those temperatures.

    That new charger is awesome! So cool you can see details like cable temperature and charging curve etc. It’s good for nerds like me 😊.
    One question: if you want for example 10 chargers all to be able to do 400kW, how many of those big cabinets do you need?

    • @accik
      @accik Před rokem +2

      Single power unit is currently available as 200 kW, max 3 "coupled" together so total of 600kW. Power resolution is 25kW that can be allocated between satellites.

    • @santerixdxd
      @santerixdxd Před rokem +2

      One cabinet is up to 200kW, so if you want 10x400kW -> 4000kW, you would need 4000/200 -> 20 cabinets.

    • @krisvandermeulen253
      @krisvandermeulen253 Před rokem +2

      Also don't forget that the charge curve of cars will only be maxing out for a couple of minutes, so the modular design allows to have less shared max capacity in total. The only disadvantage might be the situation when 10 cars show up at the same time that each ask for 400Kw at the same time ... But that occurs really not that often.

    • @marcohoekstra
      @marcohoekstra Před rokem +1

      @@bluebikerathar yeah if this is indeed possible then it’s nice and indeed you don’t need 10x 100% but maybe 50% is enough. Nog so many cars what can maintain 100+Kw all the way anyway 😁

    Has anyone faced the same problem with Kempower chargers as was in this video: when you plug CCS in, you have to lift it from the handle or charging wont start. I guess it's just so heavy that car can't lock it if it's not lifted.

    • @LustX
      @LustX Před rokem +1

      I have. Maybe some chargers are so "old" that they just need a lift because the spring system at the top is worn down. My Ioniq definitely fails handshakes on some chargers. I also pay attention to how the cable is laying on the ground in case it is "dragging" the cable down.

    Hei Bjørn.
    Beklager at jeg kommer innom kommentarfeltet med spørsmål som ikke har noe med videoen du har lagt ut, men finner ingen annen kontaktinfo til deg.
    Har akkurat lastet opp et klipp som jeg håpet at du kanskje kunne "analysere" litt: czcams.com/video/lEdkM-NDdho/video.html
    Oppdaget mandag denne uka at bilen min (2018 Nissan Leaf 40kW) brukte ekstra mye strøm på vei til jobb. Lot bilen stå på jobb frem til i går, og på vei hjem var det akkurat samme. Normalt bruker jeg max 40% av batteriet med denne kjøreruten jeg kjører til og fra jobb (vinter og kaldt). Men som du ser i klippet, så brukte jeg nesten 80%.
    I dag når jeg kjørte til jobb, så var det på akkurat samme viset.
    Har opplevd dette 2-3 ganger tidligere, men nå skjedde 2 dager på rad (3 med tanke på at bilen ble kjørt til jobb, parkert i 2 dager og så kjørt hjem).
    Er dette et "fenomen" du har opplevd/hørt om tidligere?
    Konspirasjonstenkeren i hodet mitt sier at dette kanskje er planlagt "feil" fra produsenten noe ala det @batteridoktorn i Sverige fant ut om sykkelbatteri? 😅
    Her er et klipp hvor han forklarer litt om hva han har oppdaget: czcams.com/video/o10xVfib95Q/video.html
