In a further preview, the footballer reveals how he felt his Manchester United bosses seemed doubtful when he told them his newborn daughter was ill, casting yet more criticism on the club.
Piers Morgan hints at how there are more explosive revelations to come when the interview airs in full later on in the week and is joined by Graeme Souness and Henry Winter to discuss whether the player is wrong to talk badly of his employer.

I am Brazilian myself and I had COVID and when I came back to the job my boss said that I was under investigation as they didn’t believe me even though I had evidence of it and everything. I have followed Cristiano since I was 9 (now 30 years old). I have had the great pleasure of meeting him on two different occasions.. he is AMAZING and nothing will ever make me think different. He KNOWS his value and he is VERY brave for speaking out. Manchester United having someone like the standing of Ronaldo is a big plus for the whole club, not just on the pitch. Ronaldo was and still is very professional and all those arguments I heard from him on the interview's clips are facts. It is disgraceful what Manchester United has become. During Cristiano's first stint at the club, his alcoholic father passed away. While his father was hospitalized and dying, Sir Alex came up to Ronaldo and told him "Cristiano, football isn't going anywhere. Go be with your father.". Now the same club doesn't take his word that his 3-month old baby girl is hospitalized. Whatever goes by the name of Manchester United now is not the football club it once was.
