2024 UPDATE: czcams.com/video/BFscnoZklhk/video.html
One channel I can’t fig out how to get without cable tv is Sci fi channel. That one of my favorites
I know this is different than your normal content, but the value you provide here is SUPER beneficial. Thank you for all the time you put into this one!
Usually once a year he will do a video on this topic.
@@caribdude8151 I know it! Super helpful every year.
Thank you for taking the time to break all of these down! Much, much appreciated!
This is the BEST comparison/explanation of the various live TV streaming services I've seen! The information provided is broken down and thoroughly explained. 👍🏽
Wow you are amazing! Thanks for making this video. I’ll be listening over and over again so I can take notes.
Wow...thanks so much for this information. It really answered so many questions that I didn't even know I had. Very helpful!
So helpful. I’m cutting my cable addiction. I’m feeling better about changing. Thank you.
I personally appreciate this review. Having the format you use toward a comparison of Live TV platforms is great!
My cable bill was $227 a month so I cut the cord! I was looking to replace it with streaming so thanks Adam, for your review. 😃👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for all your support of the channel, appreciate it! 🙏
I was forced to cut the cord because I moved to a neighborhood with no cable. I consider it a blessing in disguise. I prefer streaming over cable now.
@@ramonsuarez1051 that’s really good to know. Do you mind telling me which streaming service you have?
@@lianalonge1984 I use Fubo, not the base plan but the next one up because I love the extra sports channels. I used Hulu Live too and that's good if you like their lineup.
Yes mine is like 145 and I barely have any channels.
Great summary. Thank you
Adam, life is good when you put out videos. Thank you
Love this comment, thanks so much.
My Dish bill went from $104 to $196 in 12 months! …without me adding anything!
yep awful bye bye dish,,
Cut the cord!!!!!!!!
That's ridiculous 😂😂😂
Great detailed information.. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! ❤️
Awesome video you are a true professional.
Thanks so much. Great summary. I miss my antenna 😂
Good review. I tried Hulu Live and Fubo. I went with Fubo. I like how you can customize Fubo with extra packages and I love their sports content. I watch Tennis Channel, for instance, and Fubo is one of my few options. I also think their interface is better than Hulu's. It's good for surfing channels and switching back and forth between two channels so your streaming remote feels more like a cable remote control.
None of them are sufficient. Until I can choose what channels I am paying for, or not, none of these companies will get my money.
This so true.
Correction: they are expensive because they are greedy!. Just like cable and satellite TV.
I have Sling Blue. I have my own digital antenna which gets 60 local channels ( of which maybe 15 are worthwhile). I add in Sports Extra. It's $51 per month.
It's all about personal preferences.
I've had in the past, CZcams tv and Fubo ( soccer fan here). Both are over priced and I save a few hundred a year.
Then there are the add ons above your choice for "tv" channels. Peacock tv, Paramount plus, ESPN+. So, then you're adding those costs to what you have. I spend my savings on those.
Thanks for the video...looks like it'll be either CZcams or Hulu for me...I've just got to get over my streaming ignorance now.
Awesome stuff. My only complaint with Hulu live is they need to end the restrictions outside the home .I love they are slowly becoming the equivalent to CZcams tv. I hope they add the other missing channels like AMC ,WE TV AXSTV , PBS ,NBA TV, MLB Network,Epic now MGM + to name a few off the top of my head .
I Just received a new charge for the regional sport & the charging 13.99 per month. They have no option it just increased your bill. Changing provider now
Great info. thanks. I'm here because I'm looking for an alternative to HULU...too much buffering issues
It's called Dish :)
My experience is that Direct TV Stream has the best picture quality and user interface. We have a second home overseas and Direct TV Stream works fine since it is tied to my primary home. I have had issues with most of the other services when using overseas, even with a VPN.
This guy doesn't even mention NHL network. Fubo is the only streaming service to offer it in their base package. Hands down the best streamer service. This guy is boring 😴
Thanks for your help. I lowered my expectations with any of these services and pricing. Nevertheless, I'd still rather do CZcams TV or Hulu than to be tethered to my $260. every month.
1:21 You forgot Chrome Cast. I personally love it since I can pick a show and it'll show where it's being streamed and play it vs going through each streaming service to find out.
CZcams going up looking to find something else cheaper now 😡
Thanks!
My cable bill is 200 thanks man
Good overview. I'm firmly in the middle of the millennials, and I just don't see the need for a $70-80 live tv service anymore. The free services you mentioned (Tubi, Pluto, and also Roku Channel) all offer a variety of news, sports, and entertainment content. The nice thing about these paid services are that since there is no contract, you can sign up during March Madness and just watch for a few weeks and cancel.
Yes, I know a lot of people that jump in and out based on whether there is a particular event or series they want to see.
Not to mention Cable and Satellite are basically outdated technologies @@ProudMoney
Hulu Live TV is the best value wise. You get Live TV plus the Disney Plus Bundle...no one has touched that. All Disney needs to do is add spotify, since they own them and BOOM GAME OVER !
@@franklinmcclain6995not for people with apple phones 😂
I don't care about price. Their all cheaper then Comcast, spectrum etc.. CZcams TV is rock solid and knowing Google they will definitely have some great upgrades in the future
Yes but at a much higher cost.
Sling Orange with a few add-ons and a good outdoor antenna with an AirTV device is the best way for me to have the most channels possible without paying for a lot of red-flag channels. The only trope is the small DVR storage (luckily the AirTV DVR storage is separate from the main one) but other than that, I'm happy enough with those channels.
I'm a truck driver and CZcams TV is the best for people who travel for work. Just turn on the location setting in the state you have traveled to and it changes to the live local channels everywhere in the US. For the NFL fans who's team isn't telavised on Sunday the NFL Sunday ticket subscription is exclusively on CZcams TV now.
I'm looking to cut cable TV. Do you think youtube TV is a good option? I'm a trucker as well.
I only use these during football season. I like YTTV but will probably use Sling Orange this Fall due to the lower price.
I am new on CZcamsTV, having had DirecTV since 1996. I am saving a lot of money and really enjoying it. Some things were a little easier on DirecTV, but many things are easier on CZcams. I am loving it. I am almost 78 years old, and the change has not been that hard. We already had fast internet at our regular home and at our lake house. Now we have duplicate programming anywhere we are at, plus the local channels wherever we are.
I just cut directv also 20 yrs 😢 but im tired of $300 a month I'm trying to decide between CZcams TV or Hulu
@@Gr8Stowe You will love CZcams TV, once you customize your guide so that all of the channels you watch come up first. There is unlimited recording. I have most everything on Fox News in the daytime recorded, because there is no limit, and I can scan commercials if I start watching a little while after it originally started. Also, I subscribed to all of the Stars, Showtime, HBO and Cinemax channels - a lot of channels, for $29.99 a month, and had those come up in my guide right under my local channels. I have heard some bad things about Hulu, buffering and slow at times. I also subscribe to Hulu, Peacock, Prime/Paramount Plus for commercial-free playback of our local network shows that we record, so that we can watch them commercial-free the next night. If you have fast internet and a fairly new smart TV, everything works great. If your TV is 2016 or older, you may need to buy a new smart TV. I am loving being free of DirecTV after having it since 1996. CZcamsTV never slows down. DirecTV at times was slow changing channels.
@@Gr8Stowe CZcams is far better than Hulu. I have Hulu, Peacock, Netflix and Paramount Plus/Prime, for watching shows we record on CZcams, but watch them with no commercials on those over streaming channels. Hulu works great for that. But I have read a lot of complaints about buffering when converting everything you get in DirecTV to Hulu.
Hello, I am looking to "cut the cord" myself, but am worried about extra/hidden costs. Do you actually pay just the $65 for CZcams TV and $70 (+ tax) for Hulu+ LTV, or are there other monthly costs? What do your monthly bills look like? Thanks in advance!
@@Rick_Smooth I pay about $80 or $85 total for CZcamsTV per month, because I added 4K for the best picture quality. I added all the premium movie channels, about 15 of them, for a total of $29.99 a month through CZcamsTV. Those channels appear now in CZcams. So we are probably paying a total of $160 a month for everything. Of course, you need good, fast internet, which we were already paying for anyway. There are no other charges that I can think of. With DirecTV, our costs had gone up to $338 per month, plus the internet that you have to pay for separately anyway. And CZcams TV includes all our local channels in Midland. When we are in San Angelo, I get all the local stations there at no additional cost. And when we are at our daughter’s house in Frisco, we have a TV in our bedroom with all the same programming, including all the DFW local channels at no additional cost. So our total cost, with all of that flexibility, is about half what we we’re paying for DirecTV. You just have to get used to the different ways the remote works and the different menus. But it has much easier than I had anticipated.
I just dumped DTVStream due to the price increase and switched to Fubo because it was cheaper and the addition of RSNs.
Fubo has your regional sports channels which is big for me so I can watch my hockey and baseball. However, beware a regional sports fee does apply on top of the fubo rate.
It always boils down to the "must have" channels. In our household it happens to be the Tennis Channel. Since YTTV dropped them it's DirecTV Stream or YTTV + SlingTV.
If you own more than one home, the idea of a “home network” is really different by service than what was described. For example, Hulu will not allow you to run on TVs in more than one location (you can however on mobile devices). This is very restrictive so is not a good option for someone with a vacation home. CZcams let’s you watch it on TVs and other devices in multiple locations with the only limitation that your local channels are limited by your home selection. Fubo is similar to CZcams. So watch out for this. Other than that, this was a great overview. I have used them all at one time or another. I think CZcams is the best, but am currently using Fubo due to a need for a local sports channel.
Man it feels like streaming is just different than cable/Sat not better or for sure not less expensive
TY
When I need it, which is rare I usually go with CZcams. Sling was ok before the price jump. Now I'll probably never use Sling again. I actually have my best deal with cable, which definitely surprised me. Don't have as many channels, but they were offering some channels that I wanted that none of those had.
My wife and I are fine with You Tube TV with 100M (fiber).
Total $120 for both. We only stream and save $60.
Me too. Total bill is 170. with the internet and Prime. I am on a half gig speed.
Have been with YTTV but switching over to Hulu+ live TV. Will be a better deal for us with the Disney + bundle. No complaints about YTTV was great for us.
How have things been going with Hulu+ LTV?
Amazing in Canada we are limited by the CRTC which limits Canada choices as well as the highest cost for either cable ,internet and or cell phones services in the world !
Could you walk us through the steps to set up youtubetv? I have no idea how to switch. I don't have a smart tv.
I LIVE IN BRAZIL (SPEAKING PORTUGUESE) AND I CANT UNDERSTAND HOLLYWOOD MOVIES WITHOUT SUBTITLES . HOWEVER, I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAY IN NORMAL SPEED ENGLISH. I MUST TELL YOU THAT YOUR PRONUNCIATION IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. CONGRATULATONS. I WILL PAY FOR CZcams TV BECAUSE IT WILL BE DISPONIBLE IN BRAZIL SOON. THANKS A LOT.
Obrigado armano
Thanks for the info. Iam leaning towards hulu bundle now. I have CZcamsTV long time but price keeps going up. Hulu bundle sounds tempting
I have the hulu bundle and I love the price but their DVR system is extremely messed up so be careful there.
@@MikeBirdman I would also be very careful with Hulu Live TV because there's lots of Issues with getting Hulu Live TV to to work properly starting with their IP Address. Most people are constantly having location issues. I had that same issue with the IP address. Then all my channels kept buffering all the time or just kept breaking up.
@@fredreed2001 yep; i canceled Hulu back in late March due to that. It's crazy. Couldn't record programs at all anymore and not paying for that stress.
I recently cut the cord from Xfinity and decided to go with Google Fiber and Direct TV Stream. The main reason was Direct TV Stream had the Tennis channel plus the majority of my other channels I enjoy and unlimitied dvr which is a definite perk. I'm really enjoying the service since I thought I would be missing cable but so far I'm not. One thing I enjoy is that some services (Direct TV Stream doesn't seem to have this feature) allow you to rewind back a few hours on a channel to watch missed shows from earlier in the day. Amazing feature.
If you record it, you can. If it’s a live show then you can’t rewind the channel
I have CZcams TV and I love it. The only channel that I wish was part of the subscription is The Tennis Channel. They at one time carried it and I hope they offer it again.
Tennis Channel Plus is better and ultimately cheaper than Tennis Channel.
Looking at sling Vidgo and fubo tv as options. CZcams tv id out as thst was terrible last year. Also considering nfl plus premium but not sure if that will give games for full screen on Roku.
I really like pluto tv. Best free live tv out there. Its improving all the time.
I do too but the weird commercial cut in and outs on shows drives me nuts. Its been thet way for a long time.
Looking to dump ATT TV after they raised prices and added ads to dvr recordings. Almost $180 a month for unlimited dvr (which is worthless now) and only 2 devices. I left Direct TV because we were paying about the same as now. Hope I can find a better option.
Had Sling, and now YTTV. Considered Hulu+, but all the horrors of their live playback caused me to stick w/ YTTV.
which one of the major streaming services will be the first to go under and which one of the small streaming services will be the first to go under (if it hasn't done it already?).
STIRR is a free option as well
I live in Washington, but all my favorite sports teams are in NYC so my deal breaker is I need to get NYC local sports channels--YES, MSG? Which service should I subscribe to and how? I do have EXPRESS VPN downloaded.
Have really good vpn and a really good iptv service and a strong fast internet/WiFi then you’ll be set to have what your heart desires also just in case have over the air antenna.
And your monthly bill will be well under a $100 probably under $50 per month
Great video comparing five streaming services. Your comments have made our decision easier on cutting cable and the service we will initially use. One Question. We currently have Roku set up on one tv and Fire Stick on another set. Can we continue to have different devices with streaming service or do we need to invest in additional Roku or fire stick?
I have a Roku TV and an Apple TV. Just need to sign into your different accounts on each device, no issues
I left cable went att fiber $55 month and Hulu live with STARZ and HBO I like it but don’t like the fact Hulu has increased price 3 times in 6 months so I pay around $175 for internet and tv which is better then the 290 month from spectrum
What I want to know is with CZcams TV as a new customer and with the add-ons of apps the offer that I already subscribe a lot of those apps CZcams TV offers so would I be able to sign in the app in the CZcams TV network or would I only be able to sign in those apps I have outside of CZcams TV service ??
CZcams TV no matter what!
FUBO don’t have Turner. That’s a deal breaker for me personally because there’s alot of games on tnt and tbs and AEW wrestling is on Turner.
Get Sling Tv Instead.
FuboTV & add MAX separately. You will be set.
Wish Hulu had the same “home network” rules that CZcams has, but having already been a Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ subscriber, it’s hard to argue with effectively paying $57/month for almost the best channel lineup.
My choice is easily CZcams TV.
I can care less about sports channels! I want BET, VH1, MTV, LMN, & a few more channels I love. Oh, & a great DVR service. Which it appears only cable have at this time.🤷🏾♀️
Those are pretty much the channels I watch so if you find something let me know cause I’m tired of paying for all the separate apps
CZcams tv has dvr. I’m going to try them
FuboTV has what u are looking for. Also has a call center and it works very well.
Personally When i go to a different location I still want to watch my home base tv no need to change home base. makes it simple
I’d go with Sling but I like to record my programs and watch them when it’s convenient-and most of my shows are on local channels. So even if I get the additional antenna, I then have to figure out how to record my shows separately. Too much fuss and bother.
We’ve had CZcams tv for a while and it was the only way to go for us. We are big on baseball and recently they have cut off MLB network. Waiting to see if they get things worked out but I have to purchase a more expensive service plan to get it along with all the locals. Frustrating
Super box free TV
Sling sounds like the best sports deal.
YTTV is raising its monthly by $8.
Yep, prices are going up again on a lot of streaming services.
Back in the market again smh Yytv went from 59 > 64 > 75
Yep! Which is why I have cancelled and shopping again! 🤦🏿♀️
Facts I was paying a solid $59 & happy. $65 and still satisfied. At this point, a 3 party group chat is needed and everybody need to pay 1/3 of this bill.
@@kikicola78 you won't find anything better for less
Fubo TV is good if you are following MLB. Sounds quality is better on CZcams TV. If CZcams TV had regional sports networks, I would have switched to that. I usually keep Fubo TV during the baseball ⚾️ season and switch to CZcams TV when the football 🏈 starts.
Yeah, I’m thinking this is what I’ll be doing. I’ve had yttv for years now. After the price increase I began shopping again. Remembered fuboTV ain’t bad. But, then after trying I noticed turner networks weren’t available. Of course during the nba playoffs I have to have those channels. So, I’m thinking of doing just what you described.
Isn't sling adding nbc abc to chicago area march 2023?
I use Hulu +++ and HBO Max, Vudu, and Prime. The only thing is Hulu's Video Quality doesn't broadcast in 4K or stereo Quality sound
Do you have a recommendation if you want to do DIY training videos Is there a platform created for this?
You must be reading my mind lol . Im looking to cut the my current cable service.I started paying $75 and now its p to $130+ with a slim discount lol. Service is nice ( from my experience) but the billing $$ spikes for the same service/channel is a no go. Leaning toward Hulu+live or direct stream but I had Direct Tv Stream when it was called something else and the service was not great back then so wondering how their service is now? Also had sling for short time was kinda nice but no local channels .Well thanks for the video now i have some comparing before doing to ✂️.
I would recommend that you try CZcams tv on their free trial period before you sign up to anything.
I really like them, and they have a very good channel lineup.
I have Fubo and I love it. I never realized how much I missed having good sports content. I tried Hulu before but I like Fubo better.
Xfinity is super expensive plus Price is going up every year and somehow my Cable Plan downgraded and Price went up even though I got Wifi,Phone and Cable Plan its up to $240 a Month and the Plan no longer have Cartoon Network for Kids to watch and definitely no Premium Channels,Im wondering whats the point of Cable,I just need Wifi and Streaming App and Im switching to CZcams TV so my Family can watch Telemundo,Univision and Live Sports besides that I would’ve only got Wifi and I have Netflix,Disney Plus
CZcams TV is incredible
Every time I paused it and resume it always fast forward
@@robertlewis925 Try a Roku Ultra
CZcams tv is not as incredible as it should be. In fact CZcams tv picture quality is awful to me. It's not as crystal clear on most channels like it should be. I'm thinking about switching to Hulu plus live TV because the UI is better and they now have unlimited dvr storage.
Adam, great video. I don’t have a smart tv. But, I do have internet through hi speed fiber. Will CZcams video work? How about prime tv. Thanks
3/18/23 DirecTV Stream stopped DVR way early again! There's always been a problem with extending time for events running longer than scheduled. I've had to look up shows that follow and record those also. This time it was a normally scheduled NASCAR Xfinity race. Recording stopped at halfway! There was a wreck right at the checkered flag and I missed it!😕
FUBU TV allows 10 simultaneous streaming at one time at on your home network and 3 on the road plus no expiration DVR recording.
Had sling. They wouldn't let me change from total tv to sports package. Cancelled it and restarted it and tried to change my subscription. Same problems. Cancelled it again. Probably not gonna get it again. Not much on there to watch anyway.
I am having a problem trying to reach a representative for CZcams tv. I am being charged 59.00 plus an additional 81.45 for this and I am trying to get this straightened out. I only signed up for the 59.00 for 3 months then it goes to 64.00. Can you help me get to the right person?
Need to be allowed to view outside your home market. I share my services with my sons in college.
CZcams TV 💯
Every time I paused it and resume it always fast forward
Yeah I sometimes roll with CZcams TV😆
Okay so how do I record sling tv
I love CZcams TV
Looking at Sling TV, leaving CZcams TV soon $72.99 is just too much.
Sling is worse u got to add up u might end up with 75
@@kajsworld89 I’m paying $55 now for both sling packages and get locals on an antenna. No issues so far
I’m saying bruh I already canceled my subscription
Try $170 for cable tv.
@MoDavI-sl7iyh ere in tenn . Comcast rebroadcast fees are $30 alone for local channels boomer cable
So $30( a month )just to get a line feed + $$ tv package in SD, then box fees for additional tv no dvr and other items.
Yeah think 75.00 for HSN and CNN on top of not all my decimal locals are on the cable
Hulu? I tried a month of Hulu. I like he idea of it being bundled with Hulu on demand and Disney+. Call us anachronisms but we often watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy in the evening. And we often pause them while we're getting things ready for dinner. Couldn't pause them and restart with Hulu. Was I doing something wrong. Not a problem with CZcams TV. Haven't tried any others but overall have been mostly happy with CZcams TV.
What is cheaper Directv Stream or fubotv?
I recently switched from cable to CZcams TV. I’m happy with the decision so far
I have FUBAR tv.
Sling $40.00 + $50..00 T mobile internet + $25.00 indoor antenna for your locals!
Like Cableish😊
Which service carries bally sports?
In my opinion nothing beats traditional cable/satellite but having to run coaxial cable all over the place becomes a chore (I have 8 rooms with TV's). I tried Hulu, CZcams & Directv before finally settling on FuboTV. As a huge sports fan, it's a no-brainer. Currently, the only draw back is no Turner Networks (TBS/TNT). I could care less about CNN.
You love CNN don't lie.
Seems like tv is getting more expensive these days lol
So with funo you can use TV in every room with what internet
Is this 64.99 a lock in price or they go up like others?
Very informative
All these streaming services are getting VERY expensive . Same or in some cases MORE than cable/satellite TV providers (when bundled)
Cable is still more expensive bruh.
I have direct stream TV I don't have NBC and CBS due to a contract dispute between the companies.
They only gave customers a one-time credit of $10.00 credit off their bill. I'm ready to cut the cord. It's been at least 3 months now.
yup. Same conclusion. I have cut the cord and this is my first day without Direct TV at $187/mo + Internet was up to $247/mo!
I am done. I get 81 HD channels with an antenna and still choosing an internet provider because I am done!
