In this episode of Madhesh Pradesh Series, we finally bid goodbye to Mainali Farmhouse and continue our journey east. Our first stop is Nijgadh where we have a quick meetup with respected Yubraj Lama and then visit a cool spot for sunset. We stayed the night at Chapur, explored Bharat Taal, Nunthar and again traveled to a nearby sunset spot. The next day, our destination is the historial/mythical Junge Jharana where according to the stories, the first Rana Prime Minister would visit and take a bath before returning back to Kathmandu. After cooling down in the waterfall, we finally set out for Janakpur where the festival of Holi is about to begin. But, as soon as we entered the holy city, we felt a different vibe. The festivities are on, and the whole city feels spiritual.
