I don't know if you noticed, but in the inverted castle, we're fighting the bosses from Castlevania 1 on the NES: Giant Bat, Medusa, Mummy Man, Frankenstein, Death; except: doppelgänger and others. 😮😮
Yup that was the very first thing that I noticed when I first played this game back in the late 1990’s.
Not only that, but you also have to collect the same crucial objects that Simon Belmont had to collect on his quest.
The Rib, The Ring, The Nail, The Heart and The Eye.

I like voice acting in this game
This video is one of the reasons why this Castlevania isn’t even in my top 5 of favorite Castlevania games in the entire series.
Because it is too damn easy, the only good thing about it is the story, music of course, boss fights and characters.
No surprise if we talk about the lord of the castle's son!!!!

Alucard is probably the most broken protagonist in a video game next to Dante in DMC. If they remade this game they would probably nerf Alucard to give some of the bosses a fighting chance. But tbh Alucard is that dude. You got to give him props lol.
Why you not use Shield? It can block Slogra and Gaibon fireball right?
Or you can punch them :)

Rondo of Blood was ridiculously difficult. SOTN was the complete opposite. These bosses are total pushovers, even without the crissaegrim or the shield rod/Alucard shield combo.
Still my all time favorite game in the franchise, though.
I think rondo of blood was challenging but felt really fair. Losing to bosses made me really wanna learn their patterns and perfect them. I feel like symphony of the night was definitely easier too with all the tools the game gives u
