Hi brother, I usually don't write a comment anywhere. But just broke my habit because of really want to thank you here. Great effort to be helpful to other GS riders. Really appreciated.
I am personally waiting for TPS adjustment and Throttle adjustment even though I have recently done.
    Regards from Dubai.

Hey man. Really appreciate your comment and glad it was helpful.
Sadly I was pressed for time so there’s just one more video with a few smaller things coming on this bike. (on the 28.01)
But will do that as well as soon as I get a chance :)
After the 1150, there will be a few videos on a R80ST if that’s of any interest :)
Thanks again and all the best!
      Vlad

    Incredibly useful
I’ve got to take the tank off to try and work out why the fuel gauge isn’t working, and figured Changing the fuel filter at the same time makes sense
Good tip about the O ring!

Great video but it does show how silly BMW design is sometimes. I bet those filters don't get replaced as often as they should as it's such a big job.

Thank you for your comment! :)
I’m sure they don’t get replaced as often as they should, but I don’t find the job that bad. Other bike manufacturers have similar designs so can’t say it’s a bmw thing. :)

I wouldn't dip the o ring in fuel... diesel is lubricating, petrol is degreaser from the top shelf. The o ring should be able to withstand the chemicals tho, but still. Better to put some wd40 on it to give it some lube so it won't leak.
Great video's still, recently bought my own gs and this helped a lot. But I'm still a stubborn mechanic with my own ways of doing ;p

Hey. Thanks for your comment :) I guess we’re all stubborn with our own ways of doing things :)
You are right, wd40 or probably even better, silicone oil would be a better way of lubricating the O-ring before installation. But I guess I’ve just been doing it this way for too long :) Petrol does offer a bit of lubrication (not much but better than nothing) and being a case where you just compress the o-ring, not having to slide it into a bore, I’d argue it’s good enough. Certainly didn’t have any issues so far :) But might try your way in the future :)

Great vid, what special tool was it you needed to remove the pipe on the fuel filter assembly before full removal?

Thanks for your comment. Do you mean the pliers? I think they’re called Click collar pliers or Click-R.
