Unfortunately Leslie Crowe who was the Director and creator of much of this content is no longer with us. So we are hoping to get your help to figure out the places and the names of the people he captured.

That's one of the Guinness beer tankers that took Guinness in giant vats from the brewery to the UK, at the start. Maybe The Lady Patricia or the MV Miranda Guinness? I think both had those red smoke stacks towards the stern.

My Grandfather was a Hatchman on the Guinness's Boats. (He used to guide the Cranes loading the Cylindrical Tanks into the Ships Holds) He was originally a Cooper with Guinness's and worked the last Years of his Employment before he retired on Sir John Rogersons Quay on the Guinness's Boats. He worked for Guinness's from 1921 until the late 50s..He was a WW1 Veteran. Guinness's hired mostly ex Service Men in the 1920s.

The steam engines section to the end of reel seem to be taken at the Moynalty Threshing Fair which is still happening every year. It's in Meath . The guy with what looks like a scythe may be using flail which I think was a tool to beat the cut crop to separate the grain from the straw/stems.

First thought the Guinness vessel was the Miranda Guinness, then leaned towards lady Patricia.
Having looked at photos of both, we can confirm it's the MV Miranda Guinness. The ship was built as a tanker 1976 (Patricia was converted to tanker) both were retired and scrapped 1993. Miranda hit the East Link bridge in 1985, there is a video on the RTE archive.
Miranda was the wife of Benjamin Guinness, 3rd earl of Iveagh. She also had an extra-marital relationship with Tony Ryan. Perhaps Ryanair should name a plane Miranda.
