    Someone in my neighborhood has satallite internet. We have docsis/dsl/fiber offerings. I often wonder what they were thinking.

      If the dish is mobile, you could take your internet with you. Also, less likely to be tapped than traditional landlines. Or perhaps they can't stand their ISP (probably the most likely, honestly). Either way, I agree, you're not going to get those high-speed low-latency links for relatively cheap like you can with cable or DSL.

      @@ryanjeffreypetersen They can be people who love outer space so much that the prefer use satallite internet, more than docsis/dsl/fiber 😉
