My husband adopted a small monkey baby. Today I will let two monkey babies meet. She was smaller than Gon, so from now on she would be Gon's younger sister.

That is a newborn pigtail baby. As in, probably a week or two old. She is clinging to the stumptail baby for comfort because she is traumatized from being taken from her mother. All babies her age do is nurse and cling. Pigtail mothers are very nurturing and protective. This newborn's mother was probably seriously injured or slaughtered in order to get this infant. I hope you plan on holding her and letting her cling to you A LOT. And also feeding her soy milk from a small bottle.

I’ve read that causing the tail to be crimped inside clothing for long periods can do nerve damage to the nerves that feed to the tail off of the end of spinal cord. It could potentially cause serious defects in ability walk and have feeling to legs feet and or toes. Nerves cannot be regenerated either. Has potential for serious harm.

David & Mass - to think more likely not long ago in her dead mom's arms or wandering by herself as a result of her mom being brought in as a reault of some government rule declaring monkeys bringing $8USD per head/dead. So little you know of the life of monkeys. Most are considered as vermin and governments pay people to kill them. Maria Helen Tietjen Thank You for being the very smart one here that knows what is REALLY going on! So many believe she really found these babies or rescued them, and it is not true. You are 100% right it is very trendy and a big money maker for these people. They are given the camera equipment etc. told how to use it, what kind of vids the people like..baths, eating and so on. That's why there are so many baths given. That baby can't be more than a few days old and terrified. Imagine the mental trauma it will now suffer being taken away from it's mother. I understand the mothers are killed because that is the only way you can get their babies from them, they are very protective of them, and the babies cling to their mothers tightly anyways. This is so sad. I am not for sure but think it is against the law to own a pet monkey in Vietnam at this time.

Tina MA413 - now why would someone who so many are claiming only have the monkeys to make money from want to destroy their 'product' as using drugs on this small of a monkey would require the skill of a vet in order not to kill it. From what I see the monkey has one of the laid back personalities which if no one has noticed, they, like humans, are not robots, all alike, but also with different personality styles and behaviours - some lively and others not.

Dr. donna Walter I’m basing my opinion off her husbands channel. She’s really scared. The lady said so in this video as well. Her monkey is relaxed every time she bathes him. On her husbands channel, she’s fearful Every. Single. Time she’s in the bath. But she’s taken to the bottle really well. 😉

Do you give gon a bath every day??? Every time i see a video he is sitting in water with a daze on his sad lil face. That smallest baby monkey does not like those clothes on him. He has cried the entire time. These babies are so precious. I would love to have a baby to raise. Im looking to buy a baby monkey or rescue one that needs a home.

Sadly & unfortunately its true.I smh when I read someone say "they need to be with their mothers" their mothers didn't do a great job in the first place, or 95% of these babies wouldn't be w human families. I know thats not 100% the circumstances though, some die, some get sick, some its other circumstances that result in these babes being w humans. Its also very, very hard to steal a baby

No, they aren't human babies, but they are, " real baby's " Their real mothers can be harsh with them at times, but for the most part, the babies take it in stride, i guess because that's natural for them. Being with humans isn't, it's more scary at first and they don't take to human discipline too much. From watching things, like when she started these video's, they seem older as if they had just been ripped from their mothers. Maybe that is what's wrong with, Gon. Miu to me is a typical, baby. I don't know about anyone else, but if you've been around enough babies, they cry more than they don't. They are crabby, not till they get older do they stop with all the crying. But, who, disciplined their babies when they cried a lot???? As far as I know, and hope, than no one did. You just don't discipline, babies. Not even monkey babies, it's useless till specific ages. If people don't like, crying babies, to the point they want to discipline them, they really don't need to have kids, they shouldn't have kids. Who the hell uses discipline on a baby...once they are toddlers, than start giving them direction like a swat. I've seen their real mothers pull their hair so hard, pulling their heads back, like you said, most of the time they don't cry, but some of the more sensitive ones, do.. But, that is natural for them. As soon as their mother is done yanking on their hair, they go off and do something else. If you notice, the only time that happens is when they are being, weened. then a lot of hair pulling and crying goes on. I don't think i've ever seen them do that, any other time.
@@barbaramoore1711 Actually monkey babies mature rapidly. .waay faster than human baby. I believe they say as soon as monkeys are born you can compare a baby monkey at 6 months of age compared to newborn human. They are born clinging and walking within hours. So you cannot compare at all. The mothers pull back the hair n bite face to discipline. Especially low ranking moms. If they do not a higher ranking female will and possible start with the mother of baby monkey making the disruptions. You should read about female monkeys , and babies, and interactions with troop. Quite interesting.
I believe if you are going to own u need to discipline right away. Monkeys are always fighting for rank and as it gets older will try and out rank you. That is just their nature.. It is also why they do not make good pets! 😊
These are both listed species these are no common like the long tail maquces im not so sure its legal to have these

In the wild, baby monkeys are obtained by killing the mother monkey. In captivity, the baby monkeys are stolen right off the mothers' backs. The babies are "pulled" as early as three days old to a few weeks old to be sold as "pets" . It is not hard to imagine the horror both baby and mother.
