Jason Bonham performs Led Zeppelin medley at "Tribute to John Bonham" concert October 20, 1992, New York. Randy Jackson (of Zebra) on guitar and vocals, Randy Coven on Bass
That was then, THIS IS NOW. Get REAL. Voices mature, and change. THANK your LUCKY STARS we have LOADS of recordings to enjoy. Robert has more to do than sing same songs over and over again while being criticized for not sounding like he did 40 YEARS AGO! I get it. I wish too....... ENJOY HIM while he is still creating new tunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOOVVEE ROBERT PLANT!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LED ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!!! And Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters AND The Band of Joy!!!!!!!
Jason is a nice guy and I respect him for following his great father's profession. He also had some good success with his band in the 90's. We love you Jason.
Just f**king phenomenal Jason!! Closest to feeling/sounding like John Bonham I’ve ever experienced!! Plus he looks just like his father except for the blond. No disrespect intended, you have made your dad proud-especially at the O2-Rock on Bonhams!! 🤘🏻
That would be worth seeing, Randy Jackson, Randy Coven, so talented and didn`t even show them,, I know it was all about John and Jason but Damn, RIP Randy Coven
Personally, How cool is that? Jason Bonham, Bonzo's son giving us a part of himself from his pop. Really cool, and as a drummer he by no means is just average. If anybody, John would admire playing his stuff and playing it right, it would be Jason. Great job man. And uh, well the heading does say "TRIBUTE" to John Bonham. Have watched this many times and enjoy it every time. And the disregard of time keeping is also one of my favorites. Thanks Jason, say hello to Boca Raton for me.
Apparently strong enough to where in 1998 or so when touring with his group The Jason Bonham Band he would trip the electricity in the building (a club) because it was so loud. That's actually not cool, good, moral, or professional at all though.
A Disregard of timekeeping or something like that was a contribution by Jason Bonham ,using the name >Bonham did not annoy me abit. Great album in fact I have to listen it after 20 or so yeards
When covering Bonzo's Montreux it is the ONLY time a double bass pedal is acceptable in covering Bonzos drumming because John himself used a double pedal for that recording.
Oooh good try Honey 🍯 but .. to me... No. But no no body can play like your father!!!!!!!!! That's a fact . You did good.your dad appreciates it. You played with the best band in the world!!! Appreciate that !!! That's a real fucken gift!!!!!!!
you're right I agree its horrendous, if its used in a literal sense, but its used as a metaphor, its like shock therapy, yes he may be a nice guy in person but reality is reality, some day he'll piss the wrong person off, someone that does have murderous thoughts and they will end up shooting him..
my point is, u dont know what you're talking about. u just repeated what i said, which was his inspirations, i bet you he could out drum most big time drummers, his father was the greatest drummer of his era and he taught his son his tricks..
Might i add, how did the good drummers sound? too afraid to address the facts that i know of good drummers as well? and why would i know some good drummers? well because i studied music and i also play music, piano and guitar, i am also learning drums, piano accordion, harmonica and the bass, i also use to play the trumpet, violin and the pipe organ, me and my mate also started to record. so please tell me again that my "flattery" is blinding my truth. Also nice upload, i see you have a round 0.
In 2007 ,at the O2 Arena in London, the same Jason, with less hair, gives a proof of his talent, drumming with the real Led Zeppelin.Fantastic drummer
John Bonham: one pedal.
I was at this show. it was an incredible night.
My cousin played bass for this entire show,Randy Coven. We threw cabapples at a city bus in front of Grandpa's house. We were trouble.
Jason Bonham is a also a great drummer like his father. Killer solo!👏👏👏👏
Jason Bonham really shows his stuff and he is very good at what he does today.

Excelent drummer !!
he takes after his dad
I met randy this past October and omg hes as nice as can be
For "authentic" John Bonham licks, Jason's the only one I'd trust.
Excellent.
Your dad would be very happy. and proud .
Like father like son, well done solo.
Jason had the fire and aggression here. Look at how hungry he is to show off his talent. This was his best period, IMO.
Just f**king phenomenal Jason!! Closest to feeling/sounding like John Bonham I’ve ever experienced!! Plus he looks just like his father except for the blond. No disrespect intended, you have made your dad proud-especially at the O2-Rock on Bonhams!! 🤘🏻
I Love his Father and Love Jason too...LZ fan from the beginning...grtz from Belgium...
This is the best I have seen Jason play, nice job!
AMAZING, BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES OF HIS GREAT FATHER JOHN.
That would be worth seeing, Randy Jackson, Randy Coven, so talented and didn`t even show them,, I know it was all about John and Jason but Damn, RIP Randy Coven
I love the boy and well done to him!

un DIOS DE LA BATERA , era un genio
Jason is awesome .I was there in the front row that day .I was a roade for the drummers .Met them all .Frankie B was the best .
Very impressive - Jason actually had hair here!

That’s rock and roll baby. It’s running through his veins.
I gotta add John SR did it first and at a time the craft (rock drumming) was young. Both father and son are seriously high caliber drummers. Peace out
Great legacy❤

Nice drumming Jason.
Thanks, have a nice day then.
i think he's a strong drummer
Apparently strong enough to where in 1998 or so when touring with his group The Jason Bonham Band he would trip the electricity in the building (a club) because it was so loud. That's actually not cool, good, moral, or professional at all though.
thumbs up if you see Jack black on Nacho libre.
This needs more cowbells!
Is the audio video out of sync for everyone else? I can't watch lol
awww shet..
When did jack black start playing the drums?
....or Ron Jeremy with bleached hair 😂
The color of Jason's drums are freaking me out. Ludwig Vistalites next time.
😊
Jason rocking out on his dads hits
Damn I thought John Candy was dead. And here he is drumming! Nice!
Keith Lemon on drums.
I love Zeppelin and both Bonham's but just had to say...I never knew Jack Black could rip like that on the drums! Lol jk Great playing!
I never knew Keith Lemon was such a good drummer ...
Tale padre tale figlio 😊😂❤
every little detail is the key..
I wish the audio was synched up :(
A Disregard of timekeeping or something like that was a contribution by Jason Bonham ,using the name >Bonham did not annoy me abit. Great album in fact I have to listen it after 20 or so yeards
Keith Lemon
It's Keith Lemon!
A fat Paul Calf
It looks like an old Godzilla movie where the audio doesn't match the video.
Gion bonanno😊
Looks like Kieth Lemon playing the drums hahaha xD
When covering Bonzo's Montreux it is the ONLY time a double bass pedal is acceptable in covering Bonzos drumming because John himself used a double pedal for that recording.
I say dad+ something extra I like.
Whats the name of that first song again?
Ronald Shaffer Custard pie
They could have shown A LITTLE bit of the other people performing.
Who'd of thought Keith Lemon was such a Zep-Head?
Nacho Libre!
his son used DOUBLE PEDAL DW 5000
Wheres the sound?
Oooh good try Honey 🍯 but .. to me... No. But no no body can play like your father!!!!!!!!! That's a fact . You did good.your dad appreciates it. You played with the best band in the world!!! Appreciate that !!! That's a real fucken gift!!!!!!!
The powers that be have muted the video. We can look but we can't listen.

oh man its impossible to get it through his thick head.
I know, that was called a joke! LMAO

you're right I agree its horrendous, if its used in a literal sense, but its used as a metaphor, its like shock therapy, yes he may be a nice guy in person but reality is reality, some day he'll piss the wrong person off, someone that does have murderous thoughts and they will end up shooting him..
Double bass pedals wow!! Fool if you can't play like daddy then don't! do it!
+Nick Anthony Actually John used 2 bass drums for Bonzo's Montreux.. no harm done lol
Bravo ma il Papà era di un altro livello

WOW looks like Bonham from 1969 only if he would have shorter black hair really resembles his father

that midget kick sounds huge
Jack Black on drums
Nagyon jó.De azért a Fater!
by the way the 2 was an overall mark. but be glad, at least you tried.
oh i also forgot to mention an 8 year old..
Daddy never needed a double bass pedal... Just sayin...
I'm sure Jason doesn't "need" them either, but Daddy did have them and use from time to time.
A loving Father would have never said that to his son. Which means that your an ass muncher. Long live the double pedal.
LOUD7 lol
you do know he did try to not follow his fathers footsteps right?
cocaine is a hell of a drug...........
What is he wearing? At first I thought he was in some type of purple dress with pantyhose 😂 I'm still not sure
Makes me wonder why Jason wasn't directing people to their seats while someone who could play like John Henry (?) rocked the kit. Oh well.
my point is, u dont know what you're talking about. u just repeated what i said, which was his inspirations, i bet you he could out drum most big time drummers, his father was the greatest drummer of his era and he taught his son his tricks..
Stupids removed the audio.
