Karnataka will vote in the Lok Sabha polls on April 26 and May 7. Days before Bengaluru casts its vote, Pooja Prasanna and Anisha Sheth caught up with a cross-section of the city’s voters to find out what they want from this election.
A student voting for the first time in a general election says he’s lived in Bangalore Central all his life. But he’s “never seen Mohan once”, referring to the BJP’s PC Mohan who is seeking reelection from the constituency. He worries that politicians no longer “put their constituency first”.
Another voter talks about issues of development - water, sanitation and living standards. “You see flyovers and metros, but at what cost?” she asks.
They also bust “myths” about Bengaluru, from the weather to communal issues. Watch.

I have lived in Bangalore and since the first time I visit the place in 2004 when it was green and lush with those lakes and ponds, I am a prooof for its gradual degradation and the way real estate mafias have been at their helm of affairs in hands with all political parties but yet, the majority of the locals have never been loud at the basic concerns.

one must vote for a good MP, not for a PM. If we don't have good MPs who can hold the executive accountable, democracy will be in danger. Without good MPs who can debate and discuss relevant topics and peoples issue the country is in danger.

In 2020 I was in coorg tata coffe estate. I was mesmerised with coorg the fragrance of coffee flowers the green woods...but when I was in Medikeri I did saw slum area..The locals had similar issues like we have in Maharashtra suburbs..
I watched the entire video hoping for a discussion on corruption, but unfortunately, no one addressed it, suggesting it's tacitly accepted within the system.
Every issue they mentioned, whether directly or indirectly, seemed to stem from some form of corruption.
Let's consider what the situation would be like if corruption weren't a factor:
Our roads would be well-maintained.
There wouldn't be "ghost" flyovers.
Pedestrians could safely use footpaths.
Many lakes wouldn't have been lost.
Crime rates would likely decrease since criminals couldn't bribe the police.
Property registration processes would be smoother.
Illegal buildings wouldn't spring up.
Only qualified individuals would obtain driving licenses, leading to safer roads.
Drainage systems would be properly maintained.
Flooding during rain would be less likely, if not entirely preventable.
The list goes on.....

due to uncontrolled over population bengaluru is facing several problems like traffic,water crisis etc,several rivers have been killed due to real estate business,state govt should develop other two tier cities like belagavi,hubbali,gulbarga,davangere,mangaluru,udupi,ballari,tumkur etc,by this population pressure on bengaluru will be decreased,more population=more problems,every city has its own limits,bengaluru has crossed this limit
