I have ordered it. Tomorrow it's arriving😁 so excited to experience this❤
Great. Let us know what you think!
@@motivatedtravel sure after using I'll update you😊
@@motivatedtravel hi.. received the product. First we roasted the peanuts. Nice experience... But why the whole air fryer box heating up? It's made with plastic right? Is there any problem by heating? Completely hot.. omg.
(Just for 10min use)
@@veenam1205 It's been a while since I used it, but I think they do get quite hot, yes. You should make sure it's cooking on a wooden breadboard or something and not directly on your bench.
@@motivatedtravel okay..
I'm really confused about temperature settings and time setting for different food. I don't know how much time and temperature should set 🫤 yeah they gave some information about some recipes. But don't have idea about other Indian recipes.
Let me know..
Can we make banana chips in it?
Hi Chris, We've just been given the same air fryer and have a pork loin roast cooking in it at the moment. A couple of comments, my understanding is the light going on and off is the thermostat operating and on ours the lower rack has rubber pads which are attached in the slots. These pads secure the tray in place.
I was wondering if that was the go with the light, whether it was reaching temp, then going off and on to maintain it. But there was no change in the wattage being pulled, so figured not the case.
I saw the rubber things as well, but didn't think it was safe to have them in there at 200-degrees. Maybe I should have done more research, but didn't seem like a good call to have then in there boiling along with my food. Have you found they have held up ok?
Same here. My first air fryer so I’m watching to see how you do it. Definitely got the little rubber lugs on the tray
@@miriam2909 Let me know how you find the rubber going after a cook. Wish it was clearer that's the idea. Seems like an odd design.
@motivatedtravel hey there. I practised with a couple of home made rissoles and did what you did and added a couple of minutes. They were perfect. Better than using a fry pan! It was so easy to wash as well. I just basically wiped it all down well. The little lug things are still great after cooking and washing. I think they might be something to watch in case they do come off tho. Yours was missing them it seems. Wish I could send you a pic. Get in touch with them. I'm sure they'd have bags of them somewhere hehe.
I'm really glad i found your video. You taught me everything I needed to know without the manual haha. Yes I got one! Never had an air fryer before so you taught a newbie. Thanks 😊
Hi, I have just bought billord air fryer, why the light getting on and off while cooking.
Yeah it's weird isn't it. I think it could be coming off and on as the temperature comes off and on. So it gets to heat, turns off - light turns off - then it needs to turn on again to keep the temp, so light turns on. And so forth. I think.
Hi.. the tray won't fall down like that. We have the same air fryer. They gave 4 sillicon rubber grips to the tray. Why there is no grips on your tray?
Yes, you are correct. I've addressed in some other comments, too. I mistook the rubber grips for packaging and removed them thinking they shouldn't be cooked with the food. Error on my part!
@@motivatedtravel lol
@@LakshmiLakshmi-sd8hw I know right! Can't believe it, haha.
We've just got one of these. Thank you for your video. One of the things I like is that it's light. For an older person that's helpful. It's probably just not as insulated. Your chips didn't seem as good though for the Billord. That is disappointing. I'll try preheating more
That's a good point and I appreciate you adding it to the mix. It definitely needs more time on food that other air fryers to get the right fiinish.
Just got mine yesterday. Used it this morning. It’s very loud. Could it be the fan in it? This is my first time using an air fryer. Is this normal. Just asking.
In general, air fryers are pretty loud, yeah. Like having a rangehood on max setting. Mine was no louder than the Philips Air Fryer that I tested prior, so didn't pick up on it being an issue. Hopefully that's all your hearing, is the usual sound.
Have only used the air fryer once, so I can't really comment on the rubber retainers. My guess is that they are suitable but share your concern.
I also found, with the rubber on, the grill didn't sit down nicely in the tray as well. Either way, not an optimal design choice. Also not a deal breaker.
Is the cooking pan made of stainless steel or teflon?
It's teflon.
Plugged mine in and the power button is not lighting up. Anything that I’m missing? Tried multiple PowerPoints
That doesn't sound promising. I just plugged mine in and she turned straight on. There wasn't a kill switch or anything. May have got a dud. Is it turning on at all if you push the button (as in, an LED issue) or not at all (which sounds like a terminal power failure).
@@motivatedtravel think it’s a full power failure, I’ve tried pressing and holding where the power button is but no luck
@@tjmgee Ah bummer, sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully they'll send a replacement.
@@motivatedtravel seem to have fixed it, if I slam the basket in a bit harder it turns on
@@tjmgee Oh dear, lol. Classic!
