Your children give me hope that the next generation is not completely insane. Great Job parents.
😂😂😂
We did steel on my parents house 35 years ago and even though we made jokes about it looking like a grain elevator, it still looks amazing. Good job Ben and family
Mom, you totally destroy the old assumption that it's a man's job (at 71 I am from the era 😁). What a beautiful home you and your family are building. You guys are a joy to watch. May you continue to be abundantly blessed. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Thanks Murrie is a amazing builder her dad taught her well
Thanks Ben, I wondered where all her skills came from. I sure am glad I found your videos, after you had left Fab Rats. Really enjoy you and Paul and the gang. @@bandmsgarage
Marie, I don't think there's anything you can't tackle! You and Ben really make a good working family who's building their homestead with tender loving care! It looks like professional builders are building it! Looks like you're about to be finished with the outside! Then, hopefully, the garage will be next, I know Ben's going to love that, and you all will benefit from it. Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Doing a great job on the house . And boys good job on the transmission ⚒️🇺🇲👍
Doing good Ben and Family.
Ben,you bring new meaning to Shade tree mechanics!!Great work!!
"10/10 and would recommend to a friend" I like it!
House is looking great guys. And good job on the old square body.
Loving what you do makes all the flaws hide 😂😂😂
@@bandmsgarage haaaaa yep I agree
I look forward to your videos every week! Ben makes junk into working things. Marie good on you for taking on construction. Great channel and Family! I can not wait till the shop is built and all the Fabrication B and M Garage will do as a family.
I always enjoy seeing your videos. A true family channel where the whole is involved and you guys make reality videos.
Keep up the great work. Teaching the next generation
Ben's brain shut down when trying to calculate the 50% done of 1/4 of the siding.
I love how your family survives. God bless
So recall this era of vehicles. The three-speed-auto transmissions; (improvement over the cast-iron 2-speed power-glides); of previous year models. The 350 CID V-8’s. {Today, forget about repairing with all the involved electronic components. (Off to the *recycle* bin with them)}. 😆
Slowly but surely the house is coming together With Mom doing most of the work it seems like. Sure would be nice to have a garage to work in. But I imagine the house better be finished first. Another square body truck back on the road.
The siding looks great, makes the house look bigger.
Oaker sharpen your knife. Ben thanks for showing that battery pack again nice. Finn be nice to Dad. It's running Oaker.
Thanks for sharing, great family !
Naddie you are adorable 🥰
I think so too!!! She is our favorite daughter!
House is looking great! That much closer to your garage😉😁🤙🏻
House is coming along great.
house is looking good. Mom is a beast and knows everything ❤
Thats my dream. A metal roof and metal sided home. It will last alot more then regular house. 👍👍👍 awesome way to go.
Marie you didn't just feed a Heart attack victim BACON 🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓. The House is LOOKING AMAZING!!!
Only vegetarian heart healthy stuff here. So yup, grass fed pigs only😂😂😂
@@bandmsgarage you ROCK 💗. The house is looking amazing what a great job you're all doing.
@@bandmsgarage😂😂😂👌
Old school mechanics I love it used to lay under a , 727 torqflight bench press up and yell hurry up start the bolts lol
Got the house al purtified.A great new 'get around scooter that fits in a trunk, and a trans with All the gears.Rescued a neighbor even. What a Great week !
Potato wedges and bacon.. the perfect lunch. Great video guys. I can't wait to see the house done
Hopefully, with warmer weather, it’ll be easier on Ben. That said, if you get around to adding beanies (knit hat) to your hat merch, I’ll definitely buy one. Some of us like beanies, warm weather or not.
I did steel siding on my house last summer, there's a learning curve for sure.
The home improvements are coming along nicely!
Thanks we are working on it
we save your show for dinner time so the whole family can watch your family. love the progression on the house
pretty sweet vacuum sealer........ get to work now!! 😁
I will be glad when you have a proper shop. You certainly deserve it.
You and me both!
Another "new" truck running again !👍
You can do two packages at once since there is a sealer bar on both sides.
Who says men can’t multitask.Set in a transmission and jack it up with your leg.Very impressive.
House is looking great everyone ❤❤
A square piece of 1/4" plate with a old socket welded on makes a great trans plate to install a transmission with a jack
Did I hear "Short Bed"?!!!!
Ben,that would be a great project with you and the kiddos!!
A fairly easy project and a bunch of fun video.
Lots of measuring ,cutting and welding!
Episode 1 coming soon?
Thats family fun right there!
Ben you have a great family
Just a little tip ben, Ratchet straps work great to lift the transmission off the ground enough to get the Jack underneath.
I'll bet he's excited to have his truck!😁
A boy and a truck is like water to the ocean, needed, loved and makes dreams come true.
B&M Garage your channel rocks!!
Place is looking great 👍
Great content guys, very interesting 🤔. Thanks for sharing 😄.
Great job, wonderful family!!!!
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Always enjoy the family escapades, lol! Couple comments (probably a bit late) don't know if ya did it off camera, but those raw/cut edges need paint/sealer, cause they will drip rust with age & weather... AND, Oaker, if you're gonna carry a knife, it should be sharp! Just an old woodbutcher (& Scout) knowing about sharp tools, lol! Hope spring gives ya lots of fun! Thanx !
What a view!!! Y’all need a boot company to sponsor your family. Boots that size are expensive
looking good!
Whatever you do (Wink, wink!) resist the urge to go into the kitchen and grab the kitchen scissors your Mom holds in such high regard and use them for cutting those zip ties. Also don't go to the medicine cabinet and grab the good nail clippers either. For that matter forget I mentioned it and completely erase it from your mind. Ooops!
Ask Rory how to solve Automatic Transmission Problems and he might tell you the method I used back in the day. Put in a stick. Just stay away from manual transmissions that use an internal slave cylinder whenever possible since when they fail most often they prematurely ruin the clutch.
Please don't damage that new threshold and door unit by forcing stuff over it. That's one way the caulking under the threshold and the lower door casing gets compromised causing it to rot out prematurely. Personally I tend to build my own door units using Royal Vinyl Casing and trim using stainless steel fasteners wherever possible and some form of isolation to prevent corrosion between the stainless and aluminum threshold. Thresholds with vinyl inserts to fasten the bottom of the jamb to them are my goto for this.
Best!
Awesome content!
.. you guys are freaking awesome. just normal happy folks hopefully the same off camera s well. 👍👍
Missed B&M Garage; been busy working on my 1984 K20 Chevy Suburban.
The foors and walls look awesome maurie congrats your and awsome mom and wife most especially a builder 👍👍
Glad I could make the cut for the vid 🙊🧚🏽😅🎉🙌🏼
I really enjoy your videos
Keep up the great work, we really enjoyed it!
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
As usual a nice, fun video. Happy Easter weekend.
Half a 5gal bucket and 2 ratshit straps make the best 'no hoist' transmission jack.
Good episode!
Hello Ben 👋
Nice
Remember to charge that new scooter and other vehicles like it outside !
You don't want to fire in your new house before it's even finished ! 😬
great as always
House looks great yall!! Love your family!!
👍👍
Sorry I’m late watching this episode! Ben is closer to 220 lbs than the boys and that scooter didn’t care! I met Ben at the off-road games and sized him up! If you get a short bed then you have to shorten the frame, shorten the drive shaft, and might as well change the yoke that had the broken bolt! There’s always something……..
Nice job y’all🤠
The square body lives .That short bed is going to look as some on there What’s next on the square body
Sure hope you flush the transmission cooler and the lines out before hooking into a clean new transmission.
We did it thanks for checking up on us
Holy crap whatever brand bacon that is. I need too know. That was some huge bacon!!
Great family interaction, and good job with Mom on the house Wondering how you can stay on off road with that little scooter with tiny wheels?
Got a question, on the siding do you just nail the top and bottom ? I couldn't see nails. Do you need to prep it to paint ? Looks interesting. Good show !
great job again.
Thanks. Thank you for watching!
Turn the truck with the full bed into a do all... including camping. Couple swappable beds, but that bed is good size for getting big items home. Home building takes a long time with a small budget, but you guys are doing a great job. Consider order pickup when doing events since you're doing outside venue stuff. It will cut down on plastic waste and you only need to have a small on hand quantity out at one time. 🗿👽🗿👽🗿
Wow got a little GTA action going on with the sxs
This is your cosen Natty. My name is Allie Jo.
I smell a scooter race in the future!
Why not today? For sure we are making plans and you need to be there too!!!!!
🤘🏼💪🏼🦅🇺🇸
If one watches ads for pickup bed trailers, it sure seems a lot of short boxes gave their lives to haul trash.
I notice them right away and think ''oh what a waste and that's a rare pickup box''.
Ben I hope that you told your sons that you got your love of Square Bodies from their granddad.
Puddin did a set on shortening a long bed box.
That old truck seems like it needs a lot of work. Is that old rust bucket worth it?
(BTW this is the pot asking the kettle if its black. I have an old bucket of Bolts Jeep that will soon have $20k into it.)
“I cut it twice, but it’s still too short!” 😵💫😵💫🤷♀️🤦♀️😂😎😎😬🦬🦬🦬❤️
You know it’s a real thing my friend!😂😂😂😂
Ben, you need go take it to Paul so he can rebuild it!
Hate to see that trampoline go to waste
Hey there ,just wondering if the joins in the steel cladding needs the joins coated with rust/corrosion paint ?
The walls certainly look good ,bit by bit aye ?
When does Ben get a concrete pad and hoist to work on ?
I'm not sure what the plans are for the containers and that area ,maybe I've missed you explaining that .
All the best for your hard work 😊
Ben concrete pad is slated to begin this summer. After we move into the house and sell the trailer to get money for concrete. I can’t watch him have another winter outside.
We did a standing seam joint in the steal. Once the raw steel rust to just the right man cave color we will then seal the outside. To be honest never thought of the seam. It fits so tight. I am hoping the over hang of the house and the sealer will do enough. I don’t think it will crumble in my lifetime🤣🤣🤣 Natie Oaker and Finn can take care of it then.
Hey Ben take the wj hill climbing would love to see the capability
Hope you flushed the cooler lines, lots of trans rebuilds have been destroyed by metal in the cooler lines. Common mistake people make.
we did thanks for checking on us
350W motor is about a half horsepower.
21:33 Why did you put the best-looking guy _behind_ the camera?
Guys PLEASE put up a temporary safety railing before someone falls over the Deck..
its coming oaker is building it
Where are the snacks? 🙏❤️😎🤙🛻💨
There are never enough snacks!
That first piece, didn't you just need to cut more out of the piece so that piece wasn't wasted.
Is Oaker 6'6", or is that door a little short?
He is a giant!
👌✌👍☕cz
Most 4 door chevy trucks that Era got abandoned because nobody could afford to drive then week small blocks just suck gas daul tanks
