I am a BABCP accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist living in the south of England. I specialise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and predominantly work with people who have experienced trauma to help them move forward with their lives. Its a job I absolutely love and connects with my own values and purpose.
On this CZcams channel I try and make information more accessible by discussing psychological concepts through reacting to popular media.

Crazy cuz alot of people consider X, Peep, and Juice to be the trio of sudden loss from their time period, and the way all of them foreshadowed themselves is truly haunting
When you said you can hear more pain and hopelessness in his voice, here's the explanation to that;
He released this song just a day after X's death so yeah it was really fresh for him and he made it in a IG live, so yeah he just pretty much was telling everyone how he felt in that moment through the song yk and being the goat of freestyle he just turned his raw emotions into a beautiful song and also he mentions like flexing and going out which he did to lighten a mood a bit yk cause it was getting too depressing
I like how in depth you get and how you really try to understand the music and the artist, instead of just reacting like a bland react channel going “whoa” “wow” “this is crazy”
About the switch you noticed talking about 'Imma take ya girl' : it's quintessential to Juice: when he's talking about sth really deep, he often likes to mix it up with sth crude. As he says so himself in 'Rich and Blind' (the song that came out along with Legends): "gotta have so crude humour just to keep the song grooving"
yeah bro i agree i also think its to put some light on a song that has a deep message. a way for juice wrld to be able to have fun and stay positive even in a darker subject matter, its a way for the listener to feel that way too
The crazy part about the 21 years of age is that juice wrld was 20 at this point when the song released in june of 2018 and that juice wrld just died 6 days after his 21st birthday 8th december 2019.. this line still hits me so hard because of that in my head

This new generation of musicians have the “21 club” which is devastating to realize, our children are killing themselves wether it’s their lifestyle or the mental health aspect, we need to do better and get the youth the help they need

x and juice are in my top 3 oat and they literally died at 20 and 21. I find artists now that are like 23/24 and they’re considered young and just starting their career, it’s mad to think they had over a hundred good songs each (in my opinion) before the age most artists actually start having traction in their careers. Even if u only liked a few of their songs u can say their potential was becoming the face of modern rap (and all other genres for x lol)
I really like how after talking about all this pain he flicks the lighter an says this hits for you to escape the pain. As a former drug addict whos mom brother an best friend overdosed ive definitely done that

Hey I’ve been subscribed to ur Chanel for a while. But ur reaction and ur perspective on juice, X, and Peep is perfect. All 3 artist changed the narrative and vibes on Hip pop as we know as today. However, Juice Wrld is our generations Tupac. Both similarly have the same limitless potential in music along with being a great role model for the youth. Yes both of them had there vices, but both had the intention of bettering the future as we know it. Not to knock X or Peep, but Juice created over 3,000 songs In his short life of barely 21 years old. Give it 10 more years were more of his songs are released/ leaked he will have the same repature as the late hip hop legends that are still talked about today. Again awesome fucking reaction, but there is limitless reactions for the amount of songs Juice created in his short career. We need more people like you on CZcams

The story of juice’s death as well is really sad as he was on a flight back from celebrating his 21st birthday, with his close group still partying on the plane with the leftover drugs, the artist the kid laroi was also on the plane. However, the pilot of the plane reported the plane as having drugs on board to the airport and the group got wind of this, so juice panicked and tried to remove them by taking as many as he could which later caused his OD while being arrested when they landed. So he didn’t OD because he was on them by choice but by rather by fear. The especially sad part was that he had committed himself to go to some courses I think to help himself get off the drugs once his birthday had gone, so he was trying to find a path out but never got the chance to. 😢🕊️999
I mention the kid laroi as he was someone who juice was mentoring in a way, like a younger brother to him. And he talks about Juices death and the impact it had on him in some of his songs
