I made the Old Man's ribs for the first time 8-years ago. I haven't made them in a few years and just caught up on the channel. Today's ribs are for the Old Man. Thank you for sharing your joy of cooking with us. Rest in peace.

Those ribs look sooooooo good! I plan on trying your recipe out on my youngest. He doesn't like bar-b-q sauce, and so a country rib with a dry rub is a great option. I've already made your mac n cheese recipe for the kids and they loved it. Now I'm moving on to ribs. Thanks

Just made these the second time. This time, I laid down a bed of Vidalia Onion, as they're in-season and cheap right now. I also had some fresh Rosemary from the garden. This basic recipe is FANTASTIC! And this Memphis dweller really likes your rub recipe!

SENSATIONAL! I always loved spareribs and back backs, but I strongly disliked country style -- until NOW! Absolutely delicious beyond my expectations. As in the video, they are buttery tender, aromatic, and full of flavor. I'll be eating this often. Thanks for posting the recipe. It's outrageously good.

I know these are going to turn out great! Anytime you slow cook for 4 hrs the meat will be sooooo tender. I do this for a Pork Butt roast at 300 in the oven and I cover it will a rub, onions, I add the juice from 3 limes and a can of imported Mexican beer to make it even more tender (you can't taste it).. I just leave it for a few hrs and then when it's almost finished I take a fork and take thee at off the bone and let the meat cook a little but more on all of the juices 😋.. Thanks for sharing your recipe! I'll be checking out your rub recipe and trying this today 😉!

I absolutely love country style ribs, and this recipe looks right on point. Simple method for simple food. I usually stock up when they go on sale for $1.29/lb and take a mess of 'em to the local American Legion. Old peeps love 'em cuz they're so damn tender. I've made lots using this method, but I'll have to try your rub recipe. I was going with store-bought A-1 dry rub (cuz it's EZ), but this looks like the next level. Thanks for sharing.

It wasn’t the best dry rub, but the pork was cooked perfectly. I will definitely do this again. Hopefully it stays tender till tomorrow. Any recommendations for storage and reheating so I can enjoy it tomorrow too? Thanx again.
