please don't remove this the valve it is an anti Drain back valve if you remove and don't replace it your torque converter will not hold fluid when you shut off motor and Every Time you start motor you will have to rev motor to fill converter back up and in some case's it will not fill up unless you have this valve in place you risk damage to your transmission i repeat don't follow these instruction's in this video it should be taken down.

Hi, we appreciate your feedback and are aware of possible drain back issues. The best practice is to replace the line with a new check ball assembly.
What we do not want is a customer trying to flush the check ball assembly during the installation process and leaving debris in the assembly that will contaminate the new transmission or cause the check ball to stick and cause no cooler flow ultimately leading to transmission failure.
In our experience, both in the shop and with our support calls, drain back is not a common problem with removing the check ball, however, when it does happen we recommend replacing the factory line or adding a universal check ball fitting to the line.
