I have the paddle comb. I put two mailer rubberbands around the handle. The large rubberbands keeps the comb from sliding so much.
Ahhhhh, thanks for the tip. I did not think of that.
Love mines and thanks for the tip
Thank you for the tip! I just purchased the set and plan to use later during the styling part of my wash day routine. I already used the comb to detangle before washing and I really liked it so far and it may things go by so quickly. I watched a few videos and many mentioned the slippery nature of the handle and I was already thinking what I can do to solve that issue and you come through as the problem solver! I am so excited to use the rest of the set.
I have a pink one...whole head less than 10 minutes. It's amazing! I also used it on my daughter's and grandson's hair. I call it a brush. The fancy name does not change the fact ...that's a brush.
I just bought this in my local Target store and tried it tonight! I had a feeling it would be DA ONE!
Great review!! Alright Iâm sold! Just bought the paddle comb, Iâm really hoping its gentle for my long type 4 hair đ¤đ˝
Thank you and good luck! Would love to hear how you like it when you try it!
Love my purchase of the pick and paddle comb
They are my favorite!!!
Best brush ever!đ
I see you call it brush just like I do, lol!
@@Leaveit2Nessa lol yes, I think that handle throws us off to make us think it is a brush! đ¤Łđ Detangling is a breeze with it!
I concur! Such a time saver!
I love, love, love this paddle comb (yes, I also call it a brush). I agree with you, it can get slippery and I hold it the same way. It would be great if they added a nonslip silicon to the handle. I didn't notice you try the end to part your hair. For me it works but it's a little more cumbersome then using my fingers or a rattail comb (I rarely use this since I hardly ever need precise parts)
I'm still trying to think why I didn't use the tail part in this video. Lol! But I feel like for parting nothing works better than my fingers.
Put rubber ties on the brush and put your hands in thru the rubber hair ties. It will prevent you from slipping
@@Serenityblu23 genuius! Thank you
I really want to try this. I have ALOT of hair and detangling is a part time job! Lol
I need to find out tho if I just need the paddle comb or the whole set.. đ¤
I donât think you need the whole set. So far Iâve used the paddle comb you see here and the pick, and thatâs enough for me. Those are the two I recommend. Hereâs their link in case youâre interested rstyle.me/cz-n/eqxevicyh9x
I really like my paddle comb, game changer for me....for sure!!
How would you describe your hair? Is it thick or thin?
@@Leaveit2Nessa I think it's medium, not too thick, not too thin
Ok, just comparing to what others are saying based on their hair type.
One observation: it's HEAVY. Good to know if you're not expecting it! đŽ
I like this paddle comb tooâ¤ď¸
I can see why!
Love the whole 3 piece set!!
I am with you on that!!! I keep the puck in my purse at all times.
Love my paddle comb
Isn't it the best!?! Do you have the pick and comb as well or just the paddle comb?
@@Leaveit2Nessa i have only the paddle comb. This thing is the best. Out of all the many tools I have, it's the only one I use now
Happy i found ur page, i finally found someone with hair like mineđI was just over this 4c hair, it just so much hair....u inspire me ...im get these tools to help me with detangling...n just invest some patience n love into my hair...

That sounds amazing!!!
Thanks sis for the review. I love your hair...also you have beautiful hands.
Thank you for watching and thanks for the compliment!!!!
MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
Agreeeee!!!
I ordered this for my birthday. LOL. It didn't come in time but I'm really looking forward to trying it son. I'm going to do a review too. đ¤đ˝
Happy birthday to you! Message me the link to your review on IG @leaveit2nessa so I can check it out.
@@Leaveit2Nessa OK, I will.
Iâve used it before and found it a bit too bulky, slippery, and heavy. I may revisit trying it though. Iâm always afraid I may drop it on my toe, lol.
Drop it on your toe part đđđ. I know what youâre talking about. When you revisit, donât hold it at the handle, move your hand all the way up and youâll see the difference. I hope that helps.
Great video! I agree with you, as I have one. Where did you purchase your bonnet? I love it!
Hey hon, this is from humbleglow.com
What a coincidence I just ordered the pick and the comb. I did not like the paddle comb on my fine strands. I feel like my kinky-coily fine strands need flexible bristles. Hair stats: 4B/4C, fine strands, high porosity, medium density.
It's great to get another point of view. Have you tried the "Brush With the Best" by Felicia Leatherwood? It sounds like it could be a good fit for you. That's the one I've been using until I tried this one out and I still love it although this one is saving me a lot of time.
@@Leaveit2Nessa I have actually Iâve tried quite a few detangling brushes. I donât like the Felicia Leatherwood I felt like it ripped up my ends over time. The only brush I use now ans I like under certain conditions is the EZ Detangler Brush dupe from Shanique Buntinâs store.
I fell like fine strand naturals we have to be more careful with tools because our hair is the most prone to breakage.
@@PreppyFay12 I'm with you there. This paddle comb works great on my daughter's thick, 4A coils. Me, not so much. My fine strands do so much better with the Tangle Teezer (the one with the handle) and the Denman paddle brush.
@@cheryll.g.6958 Wow Iâm surprised I got the tangle Teezer with the handle tried it once and sent it right back to Ulta. It has way too many bristles for my fine strands. I do have the Denman D38 Paddle Brush which I like but I stopped using it on wet or damp hair and only use it when Iâm blowdrying my hair out with my Revair. I saw too many small broken hairs on my sink. The bristles are more flexible but also slightly too strong for my wet or damp strands and really grips my strands and can pull on em. Honestly Iâm hoping the Kazmaleje comb works as a first step and then I can use my EZ detangler tool to finsh because Iâm getting tired of buying and trying all these brushes. My ends break very easily but I also need to have thorough detangling because my fine strands can knot easily at the ends/shed hairs can really hide in my hair and cause knots.
I definitely need to get it and do a review
Worth the buy rstyle.me/cz-n/eqxevicyh9x
Wrap a rubber band around the handle. Helps with the slippery.
Sold!
I would love to hear how you like it after trying it.
Okay so I think you sold me on this
Hey Summer, thanks for watching! It really is amazing! bit.ly/2Um8aFx
Earllllyyyy! I just got my comb as a gift to myself for Christmas. Canât wait to use it after I chop my hair!!đŻđĽ°
That's a great gift, sis! How short are you cutting your hair?
@@Leaveit2Nessa Iâm going to cut it to where my heat damaged ends donât show anymore. Basically the longest length of a TWA.
Ok, new beginnings!
I tried it but it was after using the alikay naturals leave in and Shea butter so this paddle comb didnât easily run through my strands. I feel it would work better with a deep conditioner or if I detangle in the shower with a conditioner that has slip
Iâm not used to the Alikay products, so I canât really speak on them. But I personally try not to detangle my hair if it doesnât have a product with good slip on it (no matter what Iâm doing). I would totally give it a try again with different products and with wet hair.
@@Leaveit2Nessa definitely a good idea! Iâll try that my next wash day
Nice video!
Thanks a lot Rhonda. Thank you for watching!
Good brush just kinda heavy and slippery when wet.
Agree, but it has a learning curve. Iâm very comfortable using it now. I hold it at the very top and no issues with it slipping off my hands.
