  • Changing the spark plugs is an easy DIY project that can save you a significant amount of money over having a mechanic do it. It'll take less than 30 minutes and you'll spend under $40 even using premium extended-life iridium plugs. Compare that to a shop which typically runs $250 to $300!

    You should have checked the Spark Plug hole for water or dirt and blew it out with compressed air if needed before removing the Spark Plug. I did mine yesterday and #1 plug was full of water.(P0301 code)

    I would use dielectric grease on the plug before slipping into socket for ease of removal.

    My 06 H3 also has oil coming through the vacuum hose and I hope it is normal

    Made me cringe a lil him using an impact drill for that one plug. You can easily bring your threads out with the plug.
