Marion Cotillard ... Edith Piaf - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Marion transformed into Edith Piaf. I swear her performance was so spot on I felt like Edith rose from the grave and entered Cotillard for two hours. She totally deserved her Oscar for this artistic masterpiece of a film. No one makes films like the French.
2 hours..? Oh, no, no. Definitely not.. Édith Piaf was an 8 month process of Marion Cotillard struggling to juggle personal life with her career.. Her own family made fun of her, because she had her eyebrows and hair shaved for the role.

Ashley Miranda I had the same feeling after watching The Dark Knight Rises.
Although she is nothing like Piaf really was... She lacked something that Piaf had, not to mention the attitude she had that period of her life.

Marion was fantastic, but it cant be so perfect a performance, you cant see watch the real Edith Piaf, and not think how special her artistry was! Its true, the real Edith had seemed to have a softness, and a wisdom of life, that's not quite captured.
One can easily imagine that Edith's introduction to the song happened just this way in real life--thinking that she was at the end professionally and physically, then realizing that she did have one last song to sing after all.
This is the best performance Ive ever seen in my life. It touches the heart and moves the sould. Bravo Marion. And I watch a ton of movies all kinds
Being a singer, Edith has always been an inspiration for me. This scene is just amazing. It's like music bringing someone back to life.

Who cut the onion here? It's extremely moving scene, after all we learned from the film about her horribly hard life until this song. How wonderful person she was to handle all her life stories. So shiny and sad life.
