My mom hired a bag piper, and having him lead her and I into the small church was amazing. He also led my husband and I out of the church.

The more I listen to your stories, the more I notice we have so much in common. My husband and I are also an interracial couple, and my husband is also mixed. We got married 9 years ago and our story was soooo similar to yours it's hilarious. Love you guys. Plus you guys make some darn good looking kids* 😊

I was due to get married to my Fiancee during Easter Weekend this year but the lockdown has made us push it back. We have it booked for the end of August now and are desperately hoping it can go ahead. Even if for the day we have to scale it down then redo our vows and have a bigger event once all restrictions wre lifted.

God definitely put me and my husband together. We got married in 1972. We will be celebrating our 49th Wedding Anniversary on February 5th of 2021! The most important secret to long marriage is obeying the Word of God!!!

Im looking at Tamera and I notice that she looks just like her mom, and Tia looks like their dad. Tamera has her mom's beautiful smile. My dad is an identical twin as well and he looks like my grandma and my uncle looks like my granddad, its so crazy how you can be an identical twin and one looks like the mo and the other looks like the dad! DNA is amazing!
I think Tamera and Tahj look like their dad and Tia look like her mom. Tia's face is shaped just like her mom and Tamera's face is long just like her dad.

That's so wonderful. My best friends are an interracial couple, Black woman and Italian man. Their families mesh beautifully. When I'm invited to gatherings I get the best soul food and best Italian! It's a beautiful thang.

It still should be acknowledged because we know that there are still people out there that have not arrived in their thinking and acceptance of multi-ethnic couples or marriages. To me when people say I just see a man and a woman, they are not being totally honest. Because people aren't blind they can see the differences and we live in a country and a world where RACISM will always exist unfortunately.
@@ellengill514 they are not an interracial couple Tamara is a white women according to the bible and just plain old common sense the father carriers the seed the father determines the race of the kids the most high is not about confusion you can not be mixed with a lot of people what ever your father race is that's your race and the most high don't care how you look America teach lies having people think that if you have a drop of black blood then you black but that's not what the bible says and even doctors will tell you that .
One of my favorite moments from my wedding is when my husband took off my purity ring and gave it to my daddy and said “Thank you for raising a beautiful daughter!” It wasn’t a dry eye in the house! 😭😊😻

It signified that his wife came from her dad's home to her husband's home & kept her self for her husband & wedding night. Her family raised her with this very beautiful standard & belief about her union with her future husband. More people than you know do so. It was the plan & Christian goal & standard for marraige to be holy with your body until your wedding day. Many other cultures exspect this & honor this standard too. It's a beautiful & holy 🎁 gift to give ones future mate. No one else has the right to decide this for them just CAUSE you didn't understand the RIGHTEOUSNESS of it or cause you didn't do the same practice in your life this way!

I love when Tamera says "wait to get married" because she's right. You can have a best friend before you decide to be married to them, also important is talking about what you want as a couple and what your goals are.

I'm not married yet but my favorite moment at my best friends wedding was when she gave a speech and gave me her bouquet instead of throwing it. It was a cool moment.
A memorable moment at my wedding was with my dad. For a reason he stepped on my train and i turned around telling him, "hey, you stepped on my dress", his reply was as he laughed "your mother said the same thing to me when i stepped on her dress 45 years ago on our wedding day".

I loved the video. My favorite part of my wedding especially now, is when my Dad walked me down the aisle. We had a long conversation before my wedding (July 17th, 2004) and was able to patch things up. I am thankful for that because he passed away on April 15th 2020. Just the assurance he gave me as he walked me down the aisle as I cried on the way to my husband was monumental and I thank God he was there.
She looked gorgeous! And, Adam brought her out more! His love is so genuine! Beautiful people and upbringing! Both sides!

My wedding was a very small one and one of my favorite part was when after saying our I Do'..my husband whispered to me 'finally!..we finally did it". We've been married almost 4 years now💞
You both are so humble, grounded and are a beautiful balanced family. Our wedding anniversary is May 31, celebrating 12 blessed amazing years together, not sure what to do, but thinking about recreating our wedding dinner, what can I say he's the best human being on the planet♥️

My best memory from my wedding (2010; we had a backyard wedding) was standing off to the side with my best friend, from grade school, and watching everyone enjoy themselves. That feeling of peace and security still warms my heart to this day.

Favorite part of my wedding was when my Ugandan family loosened up and hit the dance floor with all the Kenyans and they ended up dancing so well everyone was surprised lol. I am a Ugandan lady married to a Kenyan man. I absolutely loved my honeymoon in Mombasa, Kenya and going snorkeling with my hubby. That feeling of being married and calling him my husband was epic

I also have an interracial marriage, I’m African American and my husband is from Poland...the most cherished moment for me was seeing his brother and sister FaceTime the ceremony so that my husbands mother could still be a part of the ceremony with us! She was robbed in Italy while waiting for her connecting flight. The wedding gifts along with her passport where among the stolen items. So unfortunately she was unable to physically be there with us, however we were so blessed that she was unharmed. So yeah, her still being able to view everything was beyond memorable.
