@@user-fq8zr2jy8w No I mean shelling done by troops under Zelensky aimed at separatists in the east. You can read the UN report or on Amnesty International. It states pretty plainly how both sides contributed to the deaths of civilians, but I'd wager the anti-ethnic Russian far right Ukrainians were less worried about inflicting civilian casualties and are likely more responsible directly for the majority of those deaths. Not that there isn't blame on the west for backing a 'revolution.'

According to all those foreign policy experts who say that Russia has an economy similar in size to the Netherlands and is just a gas station with nukes... Russia should have a nominal military budget if around $125 billion per year.
Meanwhile, Ukraine gets this US military aid, plus all the aid from lots of other countries in NATO. So why are they so hard pressed, and urgently in need of more aid, and seemingly in danger of total collapse?
And hearing Zelenskyy reassure everyone that Russia would never use nukes is utterly laughable, when Zelenskyy was *insisting* that Russia wouldn't dare invade his country, right up until the day that Russia actually did.

In accordance with the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine, the performance of duties of the President of Ukraine for the period until the election and assumption of the post of a new President should be entrusted to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
But its speaker Stefanchuk yesterday refused to perform new duties, explaining that former President Zelensky must perform them “continuously” in the future.
This is contrary to the Constitution of Ukraine and is a seizure of power.
The Constitution of Ukraine states that it is impossible to extend the powers of the president except through elections.
Anything else is a state crime.
This is exactly what Zelensky did.
The heads of foreign states today are in a difficult position: they will be able to meet with former President Zelensky - their right, but international agreements and treaties with him will not have legal force, because he has lost his powers. This carries risks of non-refund of funds and many other problems in the future.

4:57 to have so quickly given away their territory to Russia would have been just a delay of Russia taking the rest. By having made this a costly endeavor Ukrainians have forced the Russians to pay for every kilometer with their blood and treasury. There does come a point in every conflict that requires surrender but doing so early can have a worse outcome than doing so late.
It is very easy for us to ask Ukraine that since they will keep most of their territory why not give in? That would lose them around 20% of their territory and place Russia inside their nation.

Canada gave too much already. we have a cost of living crisis, the liberal government spending is out of control, driving Canadian banks interest rates up, risking economic collapse as more and more canadians default on their loans with rediculously high interest rates on mortgage renewal. in 2 years, we had a crazy influx of immigrants too. in 2 years our population went from 38 million to 41 million, without the supporting infrastructure to support the explsoive growth. our health care system is even more burdened than before. schools are far more crowded than before. housing is not available. rent is through the roof, due to over population saturation. food prices are through the roof due to "carbon pricing". and our tax dollars are still shovelled to other nations for "aid" while us at home, struggle harder and harder every month.,

Ukraine did not hold elections because of the war, the same reason the UK did hold an election in 1940 due to the Second World War (1939-1945).
