- DA and other opposition Parties respond to the way Julius Malema and the EFF was removed from parliament during the SONA 2023... Please comment and tell us what you think....
The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take the stories and the debate forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:
- Racism (including offensive comments based on ethnicity and nationality)
- Sexism
- Homophobia
- Religious intolerance
- Cyber bullying
- Hate speech
- Derogatory language
- Comments inciting violence.
We strive to make the CZcams community a safe and welcoming space for all.
I like the fact that she acknowledged that she violated the rules of parliament. Now she must defend her actions in court.
People can say what ever they want for now about Eff but I believe we'll thank them later.

I've never liked Steenhuisen, but he makes a valid point. What he's clearly stating is that whatever happened was predetermined before the sitting, and he clearly understands that D.A or any other party is not susceptible to that(Misuse of power by ANC to silent rebels by all means)

Nqakula did well. Security service has to be ready with all tools to secure that space. It's no threat at all. It's not a child's playground there as the EFF makes it to be. If that kind of behavior is condoned, anarchy will prevail.

Steenhuizen is arguing the fact that there was an abuse of power practised. If someone does not raise the point then tomorrow they'll just kick out whoever they want and continue doing what they do. Doesn't matter what the EFF did or did not do, they exposed the abuse of power the ANC practice and I think that should be the point of discussion here.

I disagree with you.before the sitting eff told the nation that they were not going to allow president to speak and they demonstrated that from the beginning. This was not only about eff, this was about 60 million people waiting to listen to how government is going to attend to serious issues we are facing. Why did eff climbed to a place where the president was sitting? How did you expect the presidential guard, charged with the responsibility of protecting the president to react? First the order said they must leave. Instead of leaving, they wanted to rush to the president. They did the same thing with Pravin Ghodan trying to intimidate him in parliament. That is true, but that is what they promised almost 10 years ago. Why hasn't the parliamentary forces as well as ANC and other parties not found and figured out a way to navigate around it politically including a rule change. I blame all parties responsible for this SONA, especially the person who is charge of security, who opens a door so close to the president as well as not having bulletproof glass/dividers near the stage area?

It is not shocking the amount of capturing that has taken place with this regime. These addresses are not seen by the majority especially the poor folk in villages and informal settlements who make up the majority of the population. This is why the ANC still have power. Steenhuisen disrupts proceeding further by complaining that the presidential guards didn't just stand around like statues waiting for orders before jumping in to protect the president.
