There are small, tinted, semi-reflective patches you can puf on your windshield to make HUD displays sharper and brighter. I would be more inclined on a 3 or Y to just use it in direct-view mode behind the steering wheel, though. In an S or X I would want the reflective mode, though. I do have a GPS HUD speedometer in my Model S with the reflective patch.

I've had V1 since July and it has the blind spot monitoring WHEN the turn signal is engaged. I contacted Teslogic after watching another V2 video where it is mentioned that the V2 model doesn't require the turn signal to be engaged for blind spot monitoring. Teslogic's comment: "Yes, that's correct. It will function without the need for turn signals to be engaged." I hope this is accurate as I've got a V2 in transit.

I just installed v2 this afternoon. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app in the box using my iPhone. The blond spot monitoring still only worked when the turn signal was activated. Based on the picture at the beginning of this review I thought that maybe the blind spot warning was the orange indicator to the side of the phone screen. So far I haven’t been able to find full time blind spot functionality.
After communicating with Teslogic they let me know that full time blind spot monitoring is only available on Teslas with parking sensors. The new ones Teslas with the camera parking system do not have full time blind spot monitoring capabilities. Very disappointing. 😢

According to Teslogic full time blind spot monitoring is only available on cars with parking sensors. It is not functional on cars with the newer camera parking sensors.

Teslogic updated their app this morning. Full time blind spot monitoring is now enabled on all Teslas even those with cameras only. I was able to enjoy this functionality this morning on my commute to work. It worked flawlessly!

@@randerson6585 Great news - got an email from Teslogic this morning with this statement: "We have just resolved the issue, and now constant blind spot monitoring is available on all car models, even those without parktronics. Please update the app." I haven't even installed the V2 module, but immediately updated the app. With the version 1 still installed, I took a drive and a vehicle passed me on the right, and a yellow-orange colored alert lighted on the right side of my iPhone screen display. Exactly what I was looking for when driving on the highway!
