  • Pedal To The Peak was a hill climb ride series put on by Bandon Bicycle Works (a former bike shop on the Southern Oregon Coast) and the Coos-Curry Adventure Cycling Club (CCACC). GoPro footage captured this first attempt that quickly became a snowy mountaineering experience. Good thing we brought our all-terrain bikes.
This challenge is not for the faint of heart, showcasing the highest peaks of the Coos and Curry counties. Each route starts and ends at a restaurant or bar and grill. The peaks are remote, so routes can end up being a combination of paved, gravel, trail, and hike-a-bike.
Brandy Peak is a 5,302-foot summit in the Klamath Mountains of Curry County, located in the Siskiyou National Forest. The route started and ended at Cougar Lane Lodge in Agness, Oregon along the Rogue River. Parking was available in the parking lot and various gravel turnouts. We rolled out around 8am. We didn't camp this time around, but totally biked and then chilled. What a ride!

Fun looking type 2 ride, I might have to steal that off your Strava to save for an adventure in the spring!

Great job, don’t know how you don’t freeze your feet. But a beautiful ride.

10 min into the snow my shoes and socks were soaked, wasn't so bad until we hit the 13 mile downhill bombing..

I use waterproof socks and waterproof shoes, but it definitely isn't foolproof! :)
