A little background story about the song: I am a metalhead and co-founder of a watch brand. For a special watch, which is tailored to me personally, we wanted a suitable metal song. With this idea we went to Annisokay. Our brand name is Corazón del Mar which translates to heart of the ocean and our slogan is start beeing yourself. These two references to us can be found in the song lyrics 😁 As a young, unusual watch brand, we had to walk a difficult path to success, so the plot of the song should reflect our struggle against all odds, and Annisokay did a great job of that. We didn't give the guys any other specifications, because it was not supposed to be an advertising song at all, but a song that the band could also identify with. We are mega happy with the result. The watch can also be seen in the video and we are the two lighthouse keepers 😅 It was great to be part of the video.
@@ennesb.4053 honestly, i did. i genuinely wasn't a fan of their past two albums. Carry Me Away was their first song i heard and the rest of enigmatic was a great album but their recent sound has been throwing me off way too much imo

Also produced by Christoph, the lead singer of Annisokay. Also off of Arising Empire. Check it out, it's a pleasant surprise. :)
I think this one is more "typical Annisokay" than Aurora was. You should checkt out some of their earlier stuff. ("Coma Blue", "Whats wrong", "Unaware" or "Blind Lane")
My man, you need to listen Consvmer's latest single, Selbstjustiz. If it's not the heaviest thing you've heard this year, then I don't know what to tell you haha! AND it's also a German band ;)
to say it as a german, germans history is build on literature and literal meanings. aka what you dont want what someones does to you, you wont do to someone else. (translastion: was du nicht willst was man dir tut, das füge keinem anderen zu). germany had also very big literature legends from medieval to today, thats why german bands use alot of metaphers in a straight forward way and using literature meanings, because thats how germans brains works, i mean rammstein is not better on that take
Man, this sounds more like Carry Me Away type of sound, which is actually very good, and is what I fell in love with Annisokay for. You should definitely check out that era album if you haven't yet, thats the real Annisokay. Their recent stuff is nothing close to special compared to that piece of art.
I miss the old screamer. Dave was much more present in the song. He gave the songs more gravitas. The new stuff takes to long to a proper build up. (The song is catchy but the bang should come much earlier.)The new screamer isn’t bad, just toned down too much. The music video is cool though.
I'm probably the biggest Annisokay fan, but Aurora was just weird. I can't say I enjoy their music as much since they switched screamers. Their older albums are just so much better imo.
Annisokay is one of those bands where I wonder why they have an unclean vocalist if they barely use him, especially since he doesn't play any instrument.
@@TheFiXNormal There was a music video of theirs where the song was 99.98% cleans and their old screamer was just slouching around like he's waiting in a lobby for a doctor's appointment. Contrast this to Erra. Jesse will write lyrics for some of their all-JT songs.
