An intense match, was pleasure to watch.
Kudos to Sawyer on his victory! It was an excellent hard-fought match. From what I gathered, he scored all 5 of his points in the first round on the takedown and near fall, correct? He took a tough forearm shot to the face late in the second round when Shane was going for a move of his own. It looks like Sawyer has asthma so it is extra impressive how well he can wrestle in such a physically demanding sport...that must be so tough, but I guess that goes to show what a tough guy he is. Shane looked like he really tried everything and he expertly took out Sawyer's legs on multiple occasions when he was on top, but Sawyer was like a rock and showed excellent strength to not be moved or turned over. Once again great video work as well!

I didn't see any ankle color bands so it was a bit hard to tell who was green and who was red. What did I miss?
Hi Robert, in folkstyle wrestling, there are primarily two common types of competition: individual or dual team. In the former type, advancement is based solely on an individual's results, and so colors must be assigned and worn on a match-by-match basis. In dual team competition, however, advancement is based on a series of fourteen matches at all fourteen weight classes (from 106 lb through 285 lb), and so the color selection made before the very first match continues through all fourteen matches. In cases such as the one in this video, the official may elect to forego the use of ankle bands if all wrestlers from each team have a consistent singlet style since s/he can simply remember which team has been assigned which color. Understandably, this can make it difficult for viewers at home, but thankfully it does not occur very often.
