Greatest man who ever walked on earth, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet rulers feared him. He claimed no territory, yet they called him King. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He defeated all his enemies, yet he never harmend anyone. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him. He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives today🙏🏻. His name is Jesus Christ ❤
Love this comment.

Thank you, John. What a wonderfully inspiring show. So important for gracious men to share their love of Christ and be an example to others with humility.
Great to see you on !
@catholicgentleman love your podcast. Your show, catholic talk show, pints with aquinas, helped me come back to the faith after being away for over 20 years. Never again, so in love with my faith and holy eucharist.
@@empackmanmueller1725 Wow, praise be to God! Thank you for the comment. You have my prayers for your continued journey, please keep us in yours. Pax et Bonum - John
Good show! I wonder if you know this Biblical history? czcams.com/video/vDKG_WFLUi4/video.html
There was no way a man or human would be able to survive the Scourging at the pillar. Jesus was beyond manly!!
I think he was truly obedient, this was his strength yo trust God and do everything he says no matter how painful to every degree.
There was no mere mortal that could take the punishment for sin that God had to mete out to Him who received it on the cross. Right there on the cross our sins was laid on Him and as Isaiah says - Isaiah 53:5 Bible Hub
*But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.*
@@JohnRenshawIII Amen 🙏 ✝️❤️

Jesus was extremely manly. Jesus was the opposite of the 7 deadly sins. He followed all the commandments (which includes taking care of our blessed mother to the very end). He was a great son, educator, doctor, exorcist, speaker, and advocate for children. He was humble, loving, merciful & full of life (he was the beauatudes). He was very manly to carry our sins to Golgotha. God bless you, love your show I've learned a lot. I heard most of your shows twice.
Our duties as women in the past and present has always been to raise and support our Men. Just like our blessed mother Mary did with Jesus and Joseph. ❤❤
The role of women is to domesticated men. Not to be macho or wimpy but rather to be truly masculine.
I couldn't help myself I just had to really laugh at the thumbnail for your video. I'm sure He's laughing with us. Seriously, as an elderly woman, I have observed men in all kinds of situations all of my life. What I learned is that a manly man is one who doesn't feel sorry for himself because he works. He never feels special or singled out when hardship comes. He doesn't blame others for his misfortunes. He doesn't feel sorry for himself because he has responsibilities, and he carries the weight of others on his shoulders with courage and a sense of gratitude for being able to do so. A manly man takes ownership of his family and is faithful. A manly man is one who keeps his word and can be depended on. But mostly, a manly man is one who bends his knee to the Lord.
These qualities could be a woman’s too.
While I agree, I must say that the modern Catholic man should also aspire to be physically strong and competent. Being gentle is not virtuous if you are a weak man who is not capable of anything because what differentiates that from pacifism via cowardice? A strong competent male that chooses peace when they are capable of damage, that is where you see true virtue.
Sometimes the lowest point a person can feel is as if it’s a point of no return, direction not found. One can only cry out for relief. His Mercy is provided even if not deserved
I cannot add any more to all the profound comments already made by both the panel and all the audience commentators. Thankyou everyone. He is our Shepherd and we his sheep. How blessed are we? 🙏✔️
I am a 14 year old and my older brother showed me you guys and I just have to say that this podcast is awesome and really helps, no one else does this but you guys.
You have our prayers. Keep your pursuit of holiness!
@@TheCatholicGentleman Thank you very much, that means a lot.
Was jesus manly , OF COURSE !!! As I grow older I see how humility is a huge part of being a man , humility equals confidence , now there is weakness and that's not humility but in all jesus teachings I don't see weak he doesn't run away from problems including the cross !! VERY MANLY
Jesus is the true meaning of what a man is and what women look for in a man!
So, maybe you guys think this is mostly useful for men, but as a catholic woman in the beging of a relationship with a catholic man, this is so deep and useful.
Very excited! This should be among your greatest episodes! Viva Christo Rey!!
Another amazing show MEN! Great work!❤
Thanks, Joyce. God bless you.
Yes he was, the manliest man that ever lived. Not only that if you believe in the shroud, the man has a perfect height and weight. You can't tell how physically manly he was but from the words he says, he is the manliest man of all time, no fear, no hate, a man of peace, that could break a conflict with a single word. And think of this. At the time he was here, he knew the world was not flat, he knew chemistry, he knew about DNA, he knew all we would discover, he knew the future, he saw all of us as we were, and did not even complain once about it and He said nothing about that because He also knew we were not ready. We needed to see Him first before we moved on.
A wonderful addition to the statements made on this episode of this show. 😊
That true masculinity chacteristics of Jesus that can be seen in men is something that I can attest to being attracted to. I imagine other women would agree. Ultimately it creates a willingness, as a female, to submit. Initially submit to our Lord, than our father (earthly), once we leave our father's house than to our husband. I love masculinity ❤. This I feel has been a great topic. Thanks gentlemen.
"Fighting Bears and Stabbing Sauron" needs to be the title of the hypothetical book that Ryan, Ryan, and Fr. Rich collaborate on to write and publish. :)
I am thrilled Fr. Pagano is wearing a cassock ❣️✝️❣️. I love it ❣️It’s so old school ❣️❣️❣️It shows his dedication for whom he’s working for ✨. My husband and I love you guys . We are so on board with the Holy Land Pilgrimage .
JMJ ..... you gentlemen men rock our Catholicism 💝. Ever grateful 🤗🥰
Our Saviour is gentle, because He is strong. A strong man with a conscience is going to be more circumspect about what that strength can do.
Cheers! Drinking a beer 🍻 and I liked 👍🏻 the video. Can we just let Men be Men. And us women we have to raise and support our Men.❤❤
This is one of my favorite shows ever! Always edifying. Not only have I learned very cool facts but it strengthens my faith and love of Christ. I can compliment what you gentlemen and your guests do all day, so I'll stop here. May God bless you and your endeavors. Thanks and praise be to God!
Thank you! Please keep us in your prayers.
Hi Fr Rich, Ryan D, Ryan S, and John
Jesus was humble loving kind always willing to help someone in need and most of all accept criticism and sarcasm in a humble way
Woo hoooo I’ve never caught a live before!!
It's all in the Urantia Book, very strong, very gentle, the most wholly religious person
Great job John! Keep it up!
Thanks, Gabriel! You too. You are in my prayers. Thanks for what you are doing.
Month 4 of CG+ is Our Lady - month of Our Lady of Sorrows.
He traveled extensively in the last three years of His life. He was the true multifaceted hunan alnd Lord no one could ever measure up to Him and He does not want that from us. He wants us to follow the Commendmest and Beatitudes by following these teachings we recognize Him as Lord and Savior. ❤
It is a sacred duty for a man to provide for women and to replicate the masculinity that Christ has layed out for them. I hope that more young men can come to terms with this…

Will watch soon but my first thought upon seeing this title "The only man who ever was."
Jesus is one tuff guy!
Thank you for this episode. I have 2 sons in their 20s who had 15 years of Catholic education @ Nativity Catholic in Tampa, Fl. They need to always continue (on their own now) their spiritual development & growth, as it’s a lifetime of growing we’re called to in our walk with Jesus. They both have signed up to the Catholic Gentleman! That pleases me, their mother very much 😉🙏
So now I have to look up a good list of virtues and figure out which I have to start working on!
Great show I watch when back from work very good for us Catholics❤🇨🇮 thank God ,our lord and blessed mother
Good morning God bless always
Wow! Delacrosse is on fire!
Jesus was strong and gentle. He was a carpenter. They didn't have a lot of machinery back then. He had to cut down and lift trees.... walked everywhere. He was built, lean, and extremely strong. He said what needed to be said, not a punk. But was gentle and tender that John laid on His chest. There was tiers to relationship with Jesus. Very different kinds and types.... the multitudes, apostles, 3 were closer and 1 even closer... but no one like His Mother Mary. Jesus is the example, not the exception ❤
Speaking of fatherhood…
🎶LEAVES FROM THE VINE🎶
That picture of Jesus breaking the cross is my phone's wallpaper 😂
Good video. I just joined the knights of columbus. Ill try and talk about the show. Anyways, thanks DAD! 😂 Y'all are funny.
DANG! I'M LATE! ❤
THANKS AGAIN ☕️
Any man (or woman for that matter) is a manly man who loves & follows Our Lord Jesus Christ, & tried to emulate Him. 🥰🙏♥️
I see Jesus as gentle mostly. He spoke truth, and that’s why people see him as this disciplinary kind of guy, but that was just him speaking truth. Sometimes the truth is like a sword and it hurts. In reality, Jesus was a kind and loving man, he befriended people who were broken and gave them something to believe in. He helped not only those who were physically ill, but those whose hearts had been broken beyond repair. He showed compassion to all.
Watching this while laying on my stomach and kicking my feet back and forth in the air
How about a video on The Sound of Freedom and Jim Caveizals Catholic background?
I would love to know the identity of all the figurines displayed on the table . Thankyou 🙏
I want to believe Jesus was exactly the way Jonathan Roumie is portraying him on The Chosen. The lines that are written for this actor as Jesus are fire 🔥 as well as Jonathan’s acting!!
Didn't he also act in "The Passion of the Christ"?
@I Am Not Paul Avery No that actor is Jim Caviezel.
@@josephmonahan8323 I know, but didn't he play some other character?
@@iamnotpaulavery Not in Passion of the Christ. He was in a movie called Jesus Revolution, are you thinking of that?
@@jemsmom97 Oh, ok. Yes, that's the one! Thanks!
I just became aware of the Outreach program that addresses the needs of homosexual catholics, and the letter sent by pope Francis to encourage it. I read the following in an article about that outreach program :
*The entire conference was uplifting and it created a space for LGBTQ Catholics, parents and allies to gather, make community and feel welcome in a safe church space.*
It is unfortunate that no one wants to tell the sinners that it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. That is indeed what will happen if they do not repent of the sins - there will be no safe space for them when Jesus returns to earth.
So how about this talk show address the real issues facing the catholic church today - the wave of clergy in Germany for instance who now want to support gay marriage? Or the same trend happening in the USA? Whatever happened to the infallible papal decrees on this particular issue? Or wait, was there EVER an such papal decree at all?
What will happen if the pope passes away - who will step in? Another, more radically progressive and transgressive follower? It would be most interesting to hear what the Catholic Talk Show panel has to say about this.
My Lord and my God Jesus Christ!

Jesus was like His virgin father, Joseph! 🙂
🎉 Jesus was firm but gentle
Not to criticize your thought just to check what you mean by gentle: do you think Jesus was gentle with the Pharisees and scribes when He called them broods of vipers, snakes, whitewashed tombs?
@@kevinrtres take note FIRM but gentle

What is the relationship of the devils rebellion against God and the fact tht the root of all evil is the love of money??? Love u guys depth
Jesus's was just the perfect man
40 days have you fasting after waight of cross,, must have your answer ifff you place their's selfe,
He definitely wasn’t skinny as originally depicted in art and Tv shows like Jesus of Nazareth.
Yeshua was a tradesman who worked doing all practical jobs for a living . Which required a lot of strength and good health.
He definitely was fit and built .
so much latin in just the first few minutes.
Born ability??
Does it really matter it was Jesus
I think some people take things a bit too far when it comes to Jesus being this perfect example of masculinity. Here’s two videos that somewhat explain how I feel about this topic.
czcams.com/video/ecfRfqqQsgI/video.html
czcams.com/video/JSNw-ciQo-Q/video.html
(Basically the message is that Jesus was more heroic than he was masculine)
This is the dumbest question I have encountered.
Of course he was.
In a Church filled with super nice guys, I understand why it resurfaces over and over again.
A more accurate translation is "Can Christian men be both charitable and manly?"
Game of thrones? 😂
Jesus is God! Isaiah 9:6. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end".
Steroids in 0-33 AD .... nah
So basically what they saying be more like women....
A Jewish man. He was JEWISH.
Sigh Why is this show still going? Their apologetics is spotty at best. They need to get Jimmy Akins on their show to class it up a bit.
We’ve had Jimmy on the show, and he certainly did class it up.
