The 'rule' of the mastery challenges tracking without hitting the PAP machine with your melee is not "only for gold enigma" as stated in the video. It tracks that way for any mastery camo as long as you have it on and only get PAP 1. As soon as you get more than PAP 1, it thinks the previous camo you had on was a PAP camo. Yes, the same goes for crystals. If you ever use a tier 2 or 3 crystal without using melee on the PAP machine, it won't work. Any time you want to use those better crystals, you need to melee the PAP machine.
Pro tip: you don’t have to smack the packapunch to keep your camo anymore. After the season 1 update packapunch Camos don’t override the challenge. This is helpful if you wanna pop a pack crystal at the start without running to a packapunch first.
Edit: looks like this might be inconsistent for some people so I’d still recommend punching it. Better safe than sorry.
This only works for the Gold camo for me. The rest still have to be kept on or it doesn't track.

it isnt even working on the gold camo for me.. because if that was true, you should by default get golden enigma mastery just getting zircon scale (300 pack a punch kills after completing GE..)
I also got the MW2 grandmaster grind done.. about 6 weeks before MW3 dropped, i cant imagine trying to get both MP and Zombies done as quick as you seem to be
@@Titokhan2 you do get gold enigma done at the same time as zircon scale, you just need to take note of the specific thing that I replied with that the original comment and the video didn't mention.

From my experience pap doesn’t void the camo you have on. I believe as long as you have the camo on the gun even if it’s packed it still counts or it has been for me

I've started the grind as well. As long as you're on in, you can comfortably double dip by doing 2 weapons at a time. My first trial run, I spawned in with one weapon and a nice perk set up, and got my 1200th kill with 21:56 left on the clock. Second time around, I got 1200 kills with 2 weapons with less than a minute before the storm started expanding. Fortunately, I was fairly close to an exfil, and made it out with no problems. Might be a bit more difficult with sniper rifles, lol. Good luck grinding!

For the perk easter eggs, they only work for 1 person in the lobby, you can see if the teddy bear is still there, no one has done it. The reason you didnt get the speedcola is because the teddy was gone and someone already did it.

They updated the JOKR challenges at some point, now it's only 30 kills with Golden Ivory, 60 with the Spinel Husk, 90 with Arachnida, and 120 kills with Bioluminescent. They also changed the camo unlock challenge requirements for these as well to make it much easier than before.
Edit: Also, you can now track the mastery challenges, just tab to it in customization and add to tracked.
Hey man, I have a big question I want to ask. I see you have you super nova sidewinder in zombies, I’ve been having issues with the attachments. Getting removed unless i set the attachments on default skin. Anything that help me? I really would love to have these skins in zombies too
Any fix for camo challenges not tracking? I'm taking bass level 'Kill 250 zombie' kinda camos not working for me sometimes. I don't know if MW2 guns can't grind camo in MW3 Zombies or if this is a common bug, or what. But it's hella frustrating.
I just went back and finished the WW2 chrome tiger challenge. Would love another camo challenge in MW3. The charms are nice but at the same time they can get very repetitive. Would love another mastery camo grind that requires both Orion and Interstellar or something
Went into a game last night with my brother and another buddy to kill the red worm at the end to try to get some schematics. Came in with akimbo pistols, some random AR, two flawless crystals, two orange wrenches, a dog bone token, the golden plates token, and as many perks as I could carry. About half way into the game (with all the perks), I went down doing a challenge in the red zone. When knocked, I was jumping off a building. My brother used his healing field upgrade to get me up, but as soon as he did it booted him from the game. He lost all his stuff. As soon as I got revived, I could not do anything besides move my joysticks, jump, and crouch. My gun would not reload. It would shoot, but once my bullets ran out it would not reload. I dropped my weapons thinking it was maybe a bug. Nope, could not pick them back up ha. I had to have a random call in the helo for me so I could at least excil with some of my stuff. Thankfully I did not use the dog bone and was saving that for the red worm fight. Stupid game. Stuff like that makes me so mad. All my stuff wasted and same for my brother.
i didnt know about the extra mastery challenges until AFTER i almost had borealis already unlocked, now i'm onto the zircon challenges and boy is this gonna take forever!! LOL
Hey Lego love the channel bro it has helped me alot in zombies and dmz but I've ran into a wall with the camo grind the carrack 300 sniper seems to be bugged its not tracking camo and I get dashboard if I put certain attachments on it like the carrack 300 11x scope I wondering if u have ran into this issue or maybe get the word out so it can be fixed or have u found more mw2 weapons that r glitched

Do you have to get all MW3 weapons mastered before you can start the mw2 weapon grind? I have played the M4 and it didn't count even one kill for the zombie camos

If u go to the pap machine and just spam purchase it it keeps the camo without punching
They should create a basic looking operator skin with each mastery camo as the main colours. Then give the operator skin to go with said mastery. (Such as the dark mater operator)

Just as a question. How much level can you do with a weapon in one game? Ist it still 7 and 14 with double xp if you do around 750 kills?
Averaging around 900 kills per game, with 30m double XP active and maybe another 15 going 5 into 'overtime' camping exfil the whole time, around 40k weapon XP = around 7-8 lvls
You can technically swap camos by having your teammate join in with the weapon you're using but with another skin, and when you're done you can swap with him
what do you get for it though after you get the weapon charm for all 36
for anyone that thinks lego said there's a new camo get ur ears checked or un clog them cause it doesn't exist

One thing I found at least on MP I'd you don't have to do them in order. I am getting progress no matter what mastery camo I have on.
I noticed the same thing just today. I accidentally had priceless camo on my RGL when I intended to have forged on it, and it still tracked the kills for the priceless challenge anyway.

Don’t smack the PaP machine. The ultra mastery reward is a joke at its peak. Literally a weapon charm. I have maybe 6 guns left and I’ll have it. Wish I didn’t take the hook on this one and thought it was a camo myself. Fml

You should make a miscellaneous tips, ex. smacking the PAP machine and immune to not only fire and explosives but also gas like Aether Nest, Infested Strongholds, or the Aether Storm when you have PHD Flopper.

You should have the gold enigma mastery challenge done on all weapons when Serpentanite is unlocked. While working on Zircon scale make sure to place gold enigma on the weapon as soon as the challenge for Zircon scale is unlocked, also don’t pack-a-punch unless you melee the machine first because if PaP changes the camo, it stops tracking.

My kills seem to always track with the camo, but in game progress challenge completions don’t pop up. This include daily and weekly challenges, base camo challenges, mastery camo challenges, and level ups. I’m talking the pop up notifications not kills. So I have to basically guess or use the amount of essence to track it. 300 kills equals to 4500 essence for example.
it was fixed in patch, you dont need to hit pap machine with melee

I did the Mastery Camo in Vanguard and I think I came up with close to 250k zombies to finish that. I look forward to this.

Just finished the grand mastery for mw3 gun and just ended up getting a rusty grand mastery charm that looks identical to the multiplayer grand mastery charm. Unfortunately no title or emblem.

I’m done with all golden enigma I did all gilded and forged, I am just starting on zircon scale for masteries last year when Lego got his I got mine like a few days after. If I didn’t work a 8-5 I would be done faster
I actually think u could track ur kills using the tracking "watch" where you can also change ur camos. Got the game on german so i dont know how to describe it any better 😂
Nah those kill counters don’t work in zombies I bought a bundle that had one just for that reason and was disappointed

I think going into the act 1 mission is the best way to get zombie kills since you can just not enter the helicopter and zombies spawn there fast and endless
They nerfed all the good methods for zombie kills, except spores

The one time I attempted to do this it overwrote my camo with the PAP camo after loading in to the mission and the kills didn't count for me.

People need to stop crying about the Sidewinder. The gun is super easy to setup so that the horizontal and gun kick are a non issue.
