Install Long Tube Headers '07 Suburban

Finally install the long Tube Headers i got for the burb. Was a straight forward install minus the headers fiasco.

Stage 8 Fasteners, anti seize for the bolt threads & a mapp gas torch makes a BIG difference. We didn't go long tube though, on our 04 Avalanche, we did a LQ4 swap with Edelbrock short ceramic coated headers, with a TBSS intake, a "hot" cam swap & a tune, bolted to a "stock appearance" exhaust.

Instead of removing the head you can weld a nut to the broken stud back the broken stud right out. That’s what I do. I work on ls everyday at the shop.

The extra 02 port would be for a afr gauge for tuning

And metal gaskets the surface has to be completely flat or it won’t seal if it’s warped the smallest amount it won’t completely seal

No issues. I changed my 02 sensors the same time now I’m running rich on fuel so
Haven’t look at it yet but believe it’s 02 sensors I changed

I was looking at the same kit but it sais it those are resonators not cats?? Did they change it??

There’s so much misinformation in here, the gaskets don’t shrink, the actually expand and for lack of better words, the same as solder themselves between the head and header, and you can’t swap the pipes to make it driver side exit. They are angled specifically to be passenger side exit only. The video quality was good and so were the angles too.
