A tired Gazza saids give Gary a word will you 🤣😂😂

People never realise when they are living through the best times of their lives.
great comment . So true
That's so sad and so true
Your always in your best time
Bloody hell,a footballer just being honest and having personality, unlike the boring media trained robots of today
Very true 👍
@@supertottenhamtv i can't stand that traitor lineker though, but gazza is a LEGEND
@@kristianhumphreys Stick your dummy back in!
Not their fault when one wrong word leads to having to give apologies.
Yes his honesty did him the world of good with the press and media didn't it.
It was at that moment, they knew…Gary could be on the telly.
Gary sounding like he’s interviewing the interviewer
It’s a far cry from the Gary of current times.
haha linekers voice is actually like that now he's older. And already got the presenter chops
You'll never meet a Market Traders Son who hasn't got the gift of the gab .
Leicestershire accent always has a nice tone too it hints of Welsh lilt in there .
Almost as if he was groomed for the job! 😂😅😂
@@jaysparrow6631 Very good
You people actually like Gary lineker? God help England
@@kristianhumphreys Clearly irony is lost on you - where was the liking ?
0:30 'The keepers unlucky' modest, gracious and respectful is Gazza to his opponent.
He's taking the piss.
190% taking the piss😂
He was taking the piss 😂😂
Definitely
@@irishbiota6793 not taking the piss. This was most strikers' goto response to watching replay footage of the goalie guessing the correct direction to dive in an attempt to save a goal.
He definitely meant that elbow.
Yeah definitely, probably didn't mean to do real harm , but you can clearly see out of frustration he meant to throw it.
That was part of his game as well , you only have to remember the nasty tackle he did , that was assault , it was only the fact he came off worse that we forget how nasty the tackle was
Sheryl was on the end of a few accidental ones too.
“It’s looks as if I’ve deliberately done it but mostly I definitely didn’t” … love the quick “mostly”
😂😂@@mccann82
Have it!
It's like Linekar was just preparing for Match of the Day all along.
Hindsight is cruel. He was an absolute genius of a player, but he definitely had issues that he needed support with. Mental health was more taboo back then. When it comes to English football, Gazza was the nineties.
Sadly yes. He was a fragile lad. He had a father figure in Bobby Robson for England but not sure if he did anywhere else.
@@leonskum.5682 he was and still remains the finest talent that had the privilege to wear the England shirt in my lifetime. Maybe the fact that he was so honest, talented and fragile just added to the story.
@@tobytike Yep. I read his book a long time ago. His ex missus took advantage of his nature money wise.
Did you notice his 'tick'.
One of the documentaries on him, they had a psychologist on to watch footage of Gazza and pointed it out.
They said with his childhood trauma of seeing his friend run over by a car and his obvious tourettes syndrome, it was a miracle he managed to play football at such a high level.
The doc said Gazzas mind was most likely racing around at 100mph 24 hours a day. Which explains his insomnia.
I felt truly sad for the man when hearing all that.
@@jacksonbow2766 yes, I must’ve read the same thing. His story is genuinely heartbreaking, with the right help I feel it’s likely things would have been very different for him.
Linekar talking like a TV presenter already
Gazza, what a fella ❤❤🎉
Gazza seems to pure for football, such honesty
too

Like the elbow comment was dead honest

Gazza what a personality that man was. Great footballer and a great guy. COYS
I agree, he had a great personality and a brilliant footballer. COYS
@@supertottenhamtvHe still is a great personality
Wow Gazza so articulate compared to many now!!
Gazza. Most exciting English footballer ever.
what about Andy Sinton?
Gascoigne seemed fairly calm & "normal" here compared to the later years of his career. All seemed to unravel for him in the mid to late 90s with the boozing etc.
What a revelation….. 🤨🤨🤨😝
@@Wiggi147 I meant that he even seemed to have his ADHD/Tourettes or whatever under control here. He couldn't even do a serious interview later on in his career
What a brilliant era!
Wow.. Both were.. And are incredible footballers. I gulped a few times watching this interview.. Love you Gazza..
Omg drama did you get the Oscar
The most blatant elbow by a man saying he didn’t do it on purpose. 😅
Probably one of the best we've seen in the game in fairness...
Lol. I think he probably meant catching him in the face to be fair
Flagrant
They all loved him, his team mates and his gaffers, but most of all the fans loved him, and rightly so in my book.
This just shows once again what a legend Gazza was. A genius, born to play football and even though you might think we have some good players in 2024 like Foden, Bellingham, Grealish etc... nah... Gazza was special, more so than any current player.
Come on! Gazza was one of a kind back then, but now theres 3 of him in most top teams
Haha 3 of him in most top teams. I'll have some of what you're smoking please, it's good stuff.

Respect to Gary Lineker, a shining light for fellow black footballers back in the day
👍😂😂😂😂👍..... Only a few if us know that Gary used to be bl4ck.....similar the Michael Jackson! 😅
So nice to see Gazza like this.. Lineker and Gascoigne, what a duo.
The memories come flooding back.
really reminds me of the greatest world cup Italia 90 in my lifetime
@@timporter4008 I was born in '69,...so I've seen a few great teams, but that italia '90 team...wow.. Barnes, Robson, Hodge, McMahon, Gazza and his bestie Linekar.
What more can I say.

Two greats! Both greatly loved.
World class these two.
What did they ever win no World Cup 😂
Ones a tray tour.
One of the best players this country has ever had. Just a shame he didn't have the right guidance
Yes. But he's done OK with the BBC and he's nowhere near as bad as Neville, Richards or Carragher.
Cracking pair of lads
Need to bring back more interviews like this
More Gazzas in the game please!
Won't ever happen now. Dribblers & personalities are a thing of the past.
@@Pininfarina81 Yep, players hit the top flight and forget were they came from quickly.
As a united supporter had great time for these two exceptional players
A legend for Rangers. Its so sad to see the journey against addiction Paul is living through.
I loved that home kit back in the day 🏅
Hummel have done a reissue on it.
Wow! I was at the game and have never seen this. Brilliant. Thanks for uploading.
You’re welcome 👍
Those were the days 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Gazza was the real player of the Tounement in Italia 90 .Matthaus faded badly in the later rounds .
As a Spurs fan in my late 40s, I can honestly say I really miss that 89-91 era.
It was a good era, has some great players back then
Gazza was amazing, a real footballer
Gazza will ALWAYS BE A LEGEND, this is a legend and a bellend sharing the same screen
Yup linker always a 🤌
Brilliant footage.
My favourite player
Gazza is adorable.
The FA were miles behind in looking after players, mentally n physically! Shame, i live around corner where hes from n hes still a legend
That elbow was about as "accidental" as Gazza's drinking. What a great player though!
Lineker, I remember him as an English/Spurs footie hero back in the 80s-90s…..he can fook right off now…!!!
I don't even like football, but get all nostalgic watching these two.
O gazza and jug ears what a team
Bloody nice fella, Gazza.
Feels like watching match of the day haha
Miss Gazza on the telly. What a player
It’s hard to believe it’s the same gadgey who brought a fishing rod and kfc for raoul moat.
Those were the best days of honest footballers full of character

Great gem. Fellow north Eastener gazza had the thicker accent back then
Not a coloured foot ball boot to be seen, hanging up in the background.
And not in a racist way.
Football boots lives matter
You wouldn't see any boots nowadays. Just a wall of sponsorship logos. Over commercialised.
I was at this game in the a county end, one of the best games Iv been to, atmo wise, Gazza in his pomp etc. A proper cup game ( county took the lead )
That whole cup run was just pure class from Gazza (and Linekar).
If only he played for Celtic and not Rangers I would l have loved him...great player from what I've heard, a good guy.

He laughs from his gated community as England crumbles
Imagine having those two( in their prime ) in our team right now ❤
Yeah, you'd be as rubbish as you are now.
Gazza - a brilliant midfielder
I agree, absolutely brilliant player.
Both of them wer quite grown up!!
33 YEARS AGO !!!!! OMG
Ahh different times, miss them days. Two good lads having a chat after running their socks off for their team.
I miss those days too, that’s when the club tried to win trophies.
they should do more interviews in the kit room
😂 yeah gazza ya definitely didnt mean that elbow did ya fella..
Gary caught a fly for tea at 1:32
A young Lineker… pass me the crisps😊
purely belter
Great viewing that. Imagine if Gazza had given an elbow like that in this day and age though :D Would be an instant red and potential for an additional ban.
Yeah definitely, rules have changes so much since. You wouldn’t get away with it in today’s game.
Legends
When football was worth watching.
2 of the best to ever wear that shirt
GAZZA HAD TO DO A NUMBER 2 AT THE LOO AT THE END
I was at that match such a great atmosphere after the game walking down the High Road!!
Great atmosphere and memories, they were the good old days. The last time we actually won the FA cup.
Gascoigne, what a rare talent, I wish he could of won a Euro or World Cup with England.
Where have those years gone
I reckon they will go on and win the F.A Cup!
He clearly did mean it.
Yep, I think Gazza was a bit in denial there.
He meant to elbow him, but I don't think he meant to smash him clean in the face like he did😂
That would be a long ban today I think
Trying to shake the guy off. The swig of the elbow is almost a natural thing to do. Was probably trying to clip his hands off his shirt.
it was 30 odd years ago in a game 99% of people have forgotten about get over it
Gazza on the rollover in that 💊
And just like that, it's 34 years later
Just look at them boots no pink pairs class
2 living legends! Both played for us (everton) 👌
This interview got Gary Lineker MOTD 😅 His voice was made for football punditry
Ahhh it wasnt the drink but the snow that made gazza
Wow, in this clip you can see Gazza 'tick' come oit a lot.
Doctors have said he may have tourettes after studying footage of his behaviour and body language.
Remarkable what he achieved when he clearly had issues.
My first thought was coke bruxism, but you're probably correct.
Got eni coocayne
