Who writes Battle Beast's lyrics? Previously, all the songs were written by Anton Kabanen. All the Bringer of Pain songs' writers were just listed as "Battle Beast." Does that mean Noora assisted or fully wrote the lyrics since she doesn't play any instruments in the band?
They wrote most of the lyrics but they also got a song writer to write a few, same as on the new album.
@@amazingthingsfromaroundthe2057 I think the most appropriate term is lyrasist. 'Songwriter' could include the music and lyrics. Per the CD booklet it seems Janne composes the music to lyrics credited to a 'Elise Widemark' to create some of the songs. Lyrics without music is not a song, whereas music without lyrics would be considered a tune. These things will have technical names but it's fairly irrelevant for most people. I've looked into it but dont know who 'Elise Widemark' is but they are certainly a talented lyrasist. Its either a fake name or just someone really low key, perhaps someone contracted for the record label. Seems Joona writes both the lyrics and music for his songs, the other band members have a few credits also but so far it's been mostly Janne with Elise and Joona.
