That's why this game is loved so much. There is no right or wrong way to play. Only thing to do is to play it. A classic that will never get old. Thank you, xLetalis.
Agreed. Released in 2015, I still get an itch to start another playthrough every time I see a Witcher video, because diving into its world is such a mesmerising experience with a beautiful story being told. In a way, it can be considered life-changing :)
The only wrong way is not to collect all Gwent cards :V

i worry the next witcher game wont live up to it since the previous bar was set so high. i dont think it will be "the witcher 4" exactly since they finished geralts story. but cdpr and adrzej sapkowski did sign a deal for a new game so maybe it will be something fresh like someone being trained by geralt

4:07 it's funny, because I first thought it's funny for Geralt to show up to Yen with absolutely nothing but grump, but after reading Tower of Swallows, i gotta say, this response is actually very fitting of the man that spent two books traveling north and south almost entirely aimlessly in vain search of the woman he literally cannot sever his fate from.
If you go through "Blood and Wine" to the ending in which Geralt does not fight Detlaf, and do this immediately after the release of Dandelion in the main plot, then you can get a situation in which Dandelion splits into two in the game. One Dandelion will save Priscilla in Novigrad, and the other will console Anna Henrieta in Beauclair.
I’m pretty sure that Blood and Wine takes place 5 years after the main story
@@jethrobreek8340 in HoS, GoD offers some advice regarding end game of main plot, so there shouldn't be much time difference between the two

@@jethrobreek8340 I do believe it takes place after the main story even though you can complete it during your main playthrough but 5 years? I don't think so
@@FinalConsensus Yeah, I figured it took place later on, but 5 years seems a bit much, especially for Ciri who would look different.
Well it took over 350 hours in first playthrough so this is basically a masterpiece
When was your first playthrough? I remember feeling like i had done and seen everything in the game when I finished my first run, but goddamn I was so wrong. Even learning about the different builds you can make with your perk and mutation options, I did multiple subsequent playthroughs after that. And the game never gets old when you learn how to make Geralt a real Witcher God.
Even recently, I discovered two new little quests I had no idea existed. I honestly can’t believe the same company made this and Cyberpunk. I love cyberpunk but it’s not in the same galaxy as Witcher 3.
@@nerdoutreachprogram5358 I just got the game a week ago, the only thing I researched is when quests get cut off, I wanna do everything lol. I think I did make a mistake because jormund is apparently going to die since I didn't compleet a Witcher contract before walking in arinbjorn tavern and it will make me unable to do a quest behind it:( have not failed /cut-off any other quest so far and it's awesome.
Question: do you also have that the cave where the bear is when you save princess the goat, stays white even though you have looted everything?

What a wonderful comment
Extremely impressive that the game accounts for all the routes you can take. I dread to think of the QA that was required to ensure this all worked. Hats off to CDPR for this masterpiece.
The Witcher 3 is the most beautiful game i've ever played. It will be my number 1 of games forever. Doesnt matter what games come out in future... it just feels like...No matter how much u know, explore and learn about the game.... u will always find something New u dont even know its there. It is an endless journey of emotions, fun and satisfaction. Thank you for sharing All of your incredible knowledge of this Breathtaking game.
My pleasure :) Thank you for the comment
Yep, every person has this one game they cherrish the most. For me it is Gothic 1, one of the first games I played, got it from a cd that came with a game magazine. It blew me away.
Well witcher 3 is cool and nice in many angles .. and pretty trash in other like combat , physical moves and etc
@@AmeerBANKAI even the pacing is slow that's why it becomes slow and boring sometimes of story and open world is kinda meh it's just my opinion don't kill me
@@AmeerBANKAI Also time consistency is terrible. When quest order related text lines are mostly consistent and diverse, time consistency suffers making you feel... Not as involved as you can be
For me Witcher 3 is 7/10 game... 8/10 at most. Decent story, good quests. Meh experience, don't feel as involved. Severity of consequences also sometimes too shallow and sometimes too deep and unpredictable. Also UI allowing to only track one quest.
Doesn't mean game is bad. Just not what i am enjoying as much as some other games
This feels like a love letter to all your 'Details' videos. I know what I'm doing for the next half an hour.
Amazing work on this video and over the years!
:) Thank you
I can't believe what I saw in this video.
From the development point of view, this is insane. From recording new unique dialogues to tracking what combinations a player might try and implement it.
I wanna send my love to those geniuses in CDPR in person.
And I send my love to you cause we all would've missed all this without you.
Thank you, man, thank you.
My pleasure, and I share your thoughts about CDPR, or at the very least the devs of the Witcher 3
To have plotted out all of that and tracked all the statuses in game to trigger the correct dialogues and options is extremely difficult (not technically just from a details POV). Getting that properly tested a tester, live or automated, to walk all the possible branches and check all the critical interactions to verify that things happened properly. As someone who has done SW project management just the QA on that is a huge undertaking.
Then they brought out Cyberpunk and destroyed their reputation.
Luckily only you think so.
You are beeing too fanboyish. It is not hard at all. Its just a couple of binary variables in the memory. And recording new lines is very easy for the voice actors, as they are used to record a ton.
Every time I hear the Skellige theme Im crushed by nostalgia and how much I love this game.
The amount of playtime that you had to get through to produce this is just incredible. I played through it 3 different times and every time I always thought there was so many different ways to experience this and you’ve done such an amazing project and presentation in order to show just how fantastic this game is.
8:46 Gotta love that subtle reference to O'Dimm wih his theme.

This is insane. I've kind of always wondered about what would happen if you did them in a "wrong" order and have seen a few videos about it, but this is truly some next level stuff. Amazing work as always!
I am constantly impressed by your thorough research of this game, which continues to reaffirm that this is the best game I have ever played. The creators put so much love and care into it!
I love sequence breaking loads, so this kind of video is right up my alley! I’m surprised how few continuity errors there are, seems like they were incredibly deliberate with dialogue for the most part!
xLetalis is a blessing to TW3 community, so good to have him around ngl :D I really wish you got an easter egg or two in the upcoming Witcher-related content, I think someone in the comments proposed to add a scholar names Letalis or something like that :)
the bloody baron's story is just damn great .. actually way better than many games these days
oath! and it's like 6 quests 4 stories in one
This has to be the best video research video made anywhere on youtube. The amount of interest reseaching the possible outcomes, and playing like it was not supposed to, and, actually finding that the developers have already prepapred for all of it.. man, I praise both you and the developers. Oh man ooooh man... Being a huge witcher nerd and an insane fan of xLetalis, I must say it's been a joyride to experience these videos and see if I missed something. There was a youtube channel created by the name "Neon Knight" recently who uploaded a video about the skipping baron quest and the whole uma questline, I was blown away by the information, let alone wondered how our lovely xLetalis hasn't made a video of... But, I know we're all in this together and forever... And video about the witcher 3, we all appreciate. Now seeing how he covered up the whole baron and uma quest line made me chuckle a bit, it was a really nice coincidence and reminded me how insane of a nerd xLetalis is, just like me.

I will say that I do not go on CZcams to check if the things I wish to make videos about have already been shown by others, so I fully admit that I'm likely not the first or the only one to ever talk about them.

The diversity of the Skellige endings is mind-boggling! I never knew that there were so many in the first place and it's staggering how detail dependent they are! And that camera angle with Cerys? Still can't believe that they actually did that, and it's so unique for the whole game!

I’m sure the majority of us wouldn’t notice the slight variations in conversations between geralt and the others, they sure put some time and planning into the dialogue that’s for sure, and you put even more into finding it all, good job man!
Incredible attention to detail in this game. This is why I love playing it (and replaying it). It's a game I boot up about once a year, and I have no regrets playing through it all over again.
"I love this game." _Plays for thousands of hours, shows up every small detail that he finds, makes a lot of videos, uses mods, talks about the Netflix series..._
Me: oh! so you love the game! nice! (just kidding, this game is awesome!)
There were a lot of details that I wished to see from this game, like what happens when you don't see Uma before going to Skellige, but could not do it thanks to university. Thank you agaon for sharing this with us!
The number of variables that all seem to work together is truly astounding. The amount of work this must have entailed has to be in a league of its own. So how they could make Cyberpunk much less polished considering the increased funding available is rather disappointing.
Having said that, the amount of time and effort you put into these videos mightily impressive. I do hope everyone who watches appreciates it.
The devs must have really loved their game. You can tell by every second of it
It's clear that Cyberpunk was rushed because the board pressured the devs to rush the game. Otherwise, we would have got a similar treatment for Cyberpunk too. Maybe, that's why, many old veterans of CDPR left the company. I just hope that the board reverts CDPR to its older form.
The witcher is an easier game to make than Cyberpunk. On top of that, Witcher is priced for its story. I don't know of many that praise it for the gameplay. People praise Cyberpunk for the story in the same way. The gameplay is rather lackluster. Then some core mechanics are pretty poor.
It's called dev burnout from massive crunch and bullshit from corporate demands.
@@ayajade6683 Sad but true unfortunately.

How many witcher videos did you do for us? You're amazing! Thank you so much!
Several hundred :)
I had no clue about asking the jarl about Uma. That’s awesome.
This time it wasn't him or not completely him at least.
You're incredible man, all the effort it must've taken to make this video, let alone explore all these different scenarios, wow!
Wonderful job!
This video must have taken a ton of work and time to produce and it was hilariously well done. Thanks for putting in the time to find all the alternates and to put them all in one video. Very entertaining.
There's another small mistake/oversight. You know how Triss, Keira and Roche all have unique dialogues you only get if you progress the main quest to the point of asking them to help with Brothers in Arms, but their personal quests are still outstanding? I discovered that Cerys actually has one of these too. It only works if you follow her back to the guest room she's staying in while in Svorlag AFTER you finish the Possession quest. The prompt to ask for her help will show up there. And she'll promise to help when the matter of the crown is settled. But you'll still have to ask her the same as you normally do later on, and she doesn't indicate any awareness that she already promised her help. Even though she technically changes her answer to "Go ask Hjalmar."
I don't know if it's just an artefact that the devs didn't remove because no play testers actually stumbled into the old version still in the game, or if maybe it's part cut content where you could've had Cerys at Kaer Mohen.
ETA - I thought about it, and I think Triss's dialogue has a similar issue. As her going away scene stays the same as it always does for the ship sailing scene. Even though she already knows about the Wild Hunt coming to Kaer Morhen, and says that if Geralt helps, she can do both. But then all her getting on the ship dialogue still seems like she's saying goodbye forever and going to Kovir. Which is odd because Keira's entire dialogue changes if you send her to Kaer Morhen when the Hunt is coming, but Triss always shows up at Kaer Morhen anyway.
I always wonder how Triss ends up at Kaer Morhen. Maybe one of the other witchers calls her up. . .

Been watching so many of these videos that I should probably set aside some time and take up the ol’ steel and silver again in NG+…
Best of luck on The Path
I keep coming back to this game time and time again. Such a masterpiece. My only real complaint is the combat is more flowing instead of having a precision feeling like the Dark Souls games and that makes it kind of too easy. I also like to run around completing all the side quests and that just makes me over-leveled for everything.
Too easy? This is one of the hardest games I've played. The combat system is quite difficult. One enemy I can handle, even two. But once the game starts clustering enemies together, that's when it gets intense and there's no attacks to deal with groups.
@@TheFLAMEXD Even on the hardest difficulty I find it pretty straightforward. Most of the enemies have predictable attack patterns so you can dodge, and counter, and you have all the potions, oils, and bombs to help too, and the signs too if you spec in them get very useful.
This is blowing my mind. I've played it through twice now and so much content in this video I've never seen before!
I'm a simple lad. A video opens with Geralt dissing the Witcher live action casting, it gets an automatic like. Keep it up, man. Great content as always.
This is great. I’ve always wanted to know how many differences there are, in everything.

Thank you very much for that video. 😊
You have done a great job here. Can only imagine all your effort.
I wonder how many weeks the writers spent just working on these few major scenes? Of all these ways this campaign can be played out, they did an awesome job of making sure everything still played out properly. How can someone NOT play the game “as intended” when they seem to have thought out everything? Well, except for that one minor detail you pointed out.
Awesome work compiling all this just for one video! You’re definitely one of the most dedicated video game streamers I’ve had the honor of watching.
Seriously fantastic work! Can't imagine how long it took to go through all these scenarios. Thanks for all your time and dedication xLetalis!
Quite some time :)
If this video took 6 years, then I’ve been waiting for 6 years 😎😝
It’s so amazing how much detail went into this game.
Thank you for the hard work :) ♥ ! This was great to see devs put so much debt in it :) !
mad respect for the effort you put into this video dude.
Wow, I just learned I didn't do the quests in order. A real quantum leap moment.
Thanks to our man xLetalis: Uma is more memorable than Avalach will ever be
I mean amount of time this man spent (playing game, making clips, editing) to show us this in 25 minutes is just crazy...! You deserve nothing but respect sir!
wow, the time and effort you put in this. Stunning job!
Damn I miss this game... its been so long since I played it last. Out of all the games I played over the years its still my favorite game. Your videos keep pulling me back in to play another hundred hours, and I regret none of it. So thanks for that, and I hope to see more videos in the future, hopefully about the upcoming remastered version of Witcher 3
The most horrifying thing i saw here was the level 73 rat …. 19:35
I have been playing this game since day 1, Tried every dialogue branches and every nook and corner of the map. The amazing details and well taught side quest even a small side quest is amazing. Background score of the game takes you deep into the game, I have enjoyed playing many games, This is the only game that makes me emotional. Thank you xletalis for sharing this to the world, I wish i could meet every single dev that worked on this game and thank them personally for this masterpiece.
You are clearly an awesome and completely mad guy but this vid is probably one of your best the work behind is so huge big honor to you
thank you ;]
