@@metalfire4257 I think last week here in Northern Colorado when I filled up diesel was $2.85 or something. I think gas is still 2.60's or so at Costco but all of the other gas stations diesel is in the 3's and gas is in the 3's too like 3.09. Some are cheaper though.

Same exact thing happened to my uncles f-150, tried hitting the wheel with a sledge hammer. The thing that worked was putting the trucks bottle Jack behind the wheel and kept applying pressure around it with the jack until it was free.

One way to help with the sticking like they did is put a rubber gasket in between each place that metal will touch metal. Some semi wheels we do are the same way and a rubber gasket has always worked for us.

a tip that might help for next time is boiling hot water and pour it slowly on the rim it will expand it a little bit which would help i always have to do it for semi dual that are stuck on because of corrosion in your case is a bit different but it probably would of helped a bit

Loosen the lugnuts but do not take off. Rock the truck side to side always works

In Germany a gallon of diesel is around 6$ ... and gasoline is even at almost 7$. So I drive my truck (Dogde Ram 5.7) with LPG that is around 3$.
I hope you see this, what I do I had a old truck they were stuck and my friend had the same problem, what I did is lose the lugs then drive about 5 feet then hit the brakes hard and do it reverse then jack it up if donât work keep doing it
A bearing puller _may_ have been helpful in this situation... safer too. Might want to make sure the wheel bearings are ok.

I watched a video of a guy wrap a chain through the the wheel and using a bottle jack in the center of the axle and it pulled a stuck wheel off pretty easily. He also had to put a lot of pressure.
Diesel is $2.70 in Denton, Texas. Gas is at $2.51. Costs me the same to fill my 13 powerstrokes 26 gal tank as it does my 05 silverado 6.0 vortecs 31 gal gas tank.

Hey jack aluminum swells considerably with heat. If you have a torpedo heater you could focus it on the wheels and let them warm up a bit. Obviously not enough to burn anything and then as it cools back down try to break them loose. Often times there is a sweet spot where they will be just the right temp to come off
Also be careful with those towing straps they store a lot of energy so if your pin or clevis breaks it becomes very dangerous as seen in the video. Chains are more preferred personally when they break the pretty much just drop unless they were yanked on
