It was a magical campaign. It had everything a movie on this topic would have, bar the final scene. Major setbacks, near elimination, late goals galore. Poch and the boys have truly treated us.

It's horrible to lose, especially with such a weird (weak?) early pen decision, but have heart, come back stronger. For us Reds, it's been an amazing season, but apart from the one league game we lost to Man City, Spurs in all three matches were easily our toughest opponents. I know you lost a few more games than you probably should have, and eventually ended behind Chelsea, who also won the EL, you are a much better side than any others of the top 6, bar City and us. I hope, and expect, Daniel levy, to loosen the purse strings and give your brilliant manager the backing he needs, and deserves, then you will go on to better things in your awesome new stadium. To have arrived for the first time in a Champions League final was a great achievement to be proud of George!!! Unfortunately the initial penalty was decisive for our destinies, even though we played
better than Liverpool, which after the initial goal was non-existent while our Spurs made more play and possession for the whole game. We had the chance to go to 1-1 but we were punished!!!

Here I am, 1 year and almost 1 month, it still hurts considering how things went after this final. Failure in signing Dybala, a miserable season in FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Premier League, and Champions League, hurts as hell. I really hope I get to see Tottenham win a Champions League and finally make worth it all those “so close” moments, and tears.

Great vid, kind of glad I couldn't afford to make the trip, as it would have been too much disappointment to take. Hopefully we get some backing in the transfer market this summer. Amazing to think that despite being homeless for the majority of the season and not buying a single player, as well as having players fatigued from last summers World Cup, we still managed 4th place and a Champions League Final. Liverpool fan, always liked/rated Spurs. Felt happy/confident with getting you’s in the final as I did feel like we would win. But, gutted as well because Spurs did have a great run and deserved a trophy after some of the teams they beat and the performances they put in with not signing a single player this season to reach that final.
We had to deal with the heartbreak last season, so I feel for you Tottenham fans. Hopefully Poch get’s the backing this summer and you’s can get the chance of another great run next year! But, I hope Liverpool can do the same as well lol!

There’s a beautiful mutual respect between both clubs which is rare. It was a really poor final, but you guys were the better team. We didn’t actually turn up, but I think the fact the players had lost out last season and the fans are familiar with European finals ultimately gave us the edge. I hope you guys have a great season next year... but hopefully not at the expense of us.

I enjoyed this as a reds fan only because after the highs of the win I like to be reminded of how it felt just a year before in Kiev. I flew from Seattle to Kiev for the final without a ticket and managed to find a Madrid section ticket and trade a young Spanish kid his liverpool section ticket. Was the best day of my life followed by rh worst night. So I have been there mate. I'd have had no issues losing to the spurs because they are a good team and MP is a genius manager. A few notes. Mane definitely aimed for the arm so I am glad origi got the 2nd goal because I would not have wanted a win with a cheap pen. Also MP should have started Lucas over Kane. I think that would have given us much more problems over the course of the match. But congratulations on your first final appearance and it was amazing to see what you all did to Ajax the day after we dismantled Barca. Good year and cheers mates
