when the competition started we wasn't favourites, and after the semi final draw we certainly wasn't installed as favourites to win as Barcelona was favourites, Liverpool only became favourites when we reached the final

We did become favourites and winners of a Champions league under Klopp. Favourites after the Barca comeback and favourites for the next CL before we got kicked out. We also won the CL. this made me cry. Im in the process of losing my Dad due to his bad health. Seeing you with your Dad just hit me hard. Being a BIG Liverpool fan I was SOOOOO Happy after the Barca match and now the Champions League match. So close the last couple of years...but now its our time. At my age and living here in the USA I know I will never live out my dream of going to Anfield....but this year made up for me not being able to go. Maybe someday Ill win the lottery so I can go. Again...thanks for sharing your experience with your Dad...it will be a memory that will be with you forever....remember...WE all never walk alone.

I will forever remember this video. I showed it to my dad, a Liverpool supporter, 2 days after the final and we both sat in awe at the fans, the songs and the atmosphere in general. We sat and wondered what it must've been like in Madrid those few days.

This football club indeed Paul! Its still not sank in yet, just pure unadulterated joy we are all feeling I'm sure. We have had too many heartbreaks over the last decade, but they are all cancelled out by the sheer delight in winning the European Cup yet again! These players and Klopp will go down as legends, and I couldn't be more delighted for them, especially Jordan Henderson - the emotion he showed at the end was culmination of years of hard work and determination to prove the naysayers wrong, and he now goes down alongside Emelyn Hughes, Phil Thompson, Graeme Souness, Steven Gerrard, as captains who have lifted the European Cup. Wonderful stuff.
