Right...particularily as 1st Gen runs a paltry $1200
For many, the whole reason were diy....ers is cash flow or lack of so it's back to good old coolers for us.

Do you have to take out the 12v car power adapter every time you want to use solar? Or can you have it connected to the car and solar to the fridge battery independent via usbc?

Runs on propane right? Would probably be more efficient since you're going dc-to-dc as well if you had a battery backup
Could I use DOKIO 160W 18V Portable Solar Panel Kit to charge my glacier?
Looks like it has xt60 connection, not sure if I could connect it directly from solar panels without the solar controller that is in the kit, I don’t have the solar kit, but I need to buy something to be available to keep the charger in camping, this solar kit has a decent price, I just want to see if it work before I purchase
