Hello! I have to install a radio in my Corolla E11, like your way.
Do i need also a "frame" or normal iso radio will just fit without problem where the original cassette deck? And.. will I lose the computer in the upper part with fuel consumption, clock, etc, or not? The antenna cable is plugged on the cassette deck ? Thank you in advance!

Andrea Romeo no frame needed. Unscrew the tape deck and screw the new one in. Antena is at the back of this. Can't remember about fuel consumption. I don't have the car anymore. Good luck.

Did you just change the cd/tape player with the radio?

gedalja yep the unit that comes out in the 2000 corolla just looks like a tape deck.

Awesom! Thanks for the reply. I have the cd-player there, so is it just swopping, or do I need a adapter cable? I want a radio with USB/Bluetooth installed.

gedalja all you need is a toyota iso harness from eBay and the stereo.

It worked! Thanks for the advise! I used a MES 20TY01/PC2 - 17-4 cable to connect my radio, a JVC KD-X441DBT.

Wow, this car's interior is terrible! Cheap plastic everywhere...

Its a corolla, nothing fancy but it hasn't broken down in 8 years so I'd rather a reliable car than one with fancy trim.

Orbital Tube Of course, i would prefer reliable car as well, i just wish they had spent a few more dollars for better interior, but i guess that's what most car manufacturers do - they make you pay for premium quality.
