@@milonga_ Well, in World Tour it wasn’t so much Chris desperately trying to keep Heather in the game, it was more so the writers desperately trying to keep Heather in the game. And all of Team Amazon for that matter. Because the show really couldn’t afford to lose any members of Team Amazon in World Tour. Team Amazon only had Heather, Courtney, Gwen, Cody, and Sierra. Those characters were essential to certain plot points of the season. They had to keep Heather in because they wanted to do the whole “Heather vs. Alejandro” thing and have Heather win a season, Courtney and Gwen were kept in because they just HAD to do that stupid love triangle between them and Duncan, and of course, we just had to have all of the Cody and Sierra stalker moments for laughs.
Also, as far as Team Chris is Really x4 Hot is concerned, it seemed like they were just kept in for plot convenience. Like, Alejandro because he’s the villain, Noah because of his snarky comments and to suspect Alejandro (I didn’t mind Noah at all this season), Tyler just for stupid plot line stuff that never went anywhere, and Owen because he’s Owen and it would be crazy to not have him in a season.
So yeah, both Team Amazon and Team Chris is Really x4 Hot kind of had a bit of plot armor while Team Victory got the shaft. Team Victory literally existed so that there could be eliminations without having to get rid of essential characters. Which is a shame because Team Victory consisted of some of my favorites (Harold, LeShawna, DJ, Lindsay, Ezekiel, etc.) and it really sucked to see them act so incompetent and receive such low placing just for the sake of other plots.
No every odd episode is a elimination every Evan is a reward(minus ep 1 and ep 1 part 2)

Considering irl reality competitions keep on contestants that cause drama, it's realistic (actually upon rewatching it, I totally saw her being kept just for drama).
Chris kinda did that in World Tour to like when the Amazons were like"you screwed up this challenge,but we dont like Heather and know that she's a bigger threat so we'll vote her off"when Gwen lost them the challenge.Chris showed the votes but then was like nobody is leaving.
Chris rigging the votes to keep Heather in was confirm in TDWT as Heather got the most votes in the 8th episode by three but Chris flat out made it be a reward challenge as Chris decided to keep Heather in so that she could get revenge on her team (except Cody as he votes for Sierra) and Alejandro, as like everyone else Chris knew about Aleheather so more drama from Heather in season 3
Tbh. I know that in "I See London" Chris lied about the votes. Duncan and Noah would've both voted Alejandro. Unsure who Owen voted though. It would've probably led to a tie breaker or Alejandro getting eliminated if he had actually read out the votes correctly instead of instantly saying Noah had 3 votes.

@@TheTeknicalMixes Back in time he had no clue who Alejandro was and since he was friend with Owen it was down to Tyler and Noah, so either way it makes sense - Noah was making fun of him in TDI special episode and he probably would go for votting him off, but they really made that elimination very "guessing", so nobody know.
Actually Geoff's elimination makes sense, even though they only referenced it once, the contestants believed that there was going to be a jury at the end of the game to choose the winner like on Survivor. Chris even said in the The Brunch of Disgustingness that everyone who was left would make the jury. That's why everyone but Gwen voted Geoff off because they knew they couldn't win against him. Everyone liked Geoff in Island. All of the other eliminations Justin, Beth, Izzy 2, Leshawna and Lindsay were def bullshit
Angel of Misery Covers Honestly Beth makes a lot more sense after watching the episode. Since she took the statue they lost three challenges, Cody got mauled by a bear, Owen are all of their food, and had lost every challenge back to back. Also Leshawna and Owen already Agreed to vote off Beth and add Lindsay and Heather and that’s four votes which over Rules Beth, Gwen, and Trent (if they didn’t vote for her too). Also Lindsay makes the theory fall apart seeing how she was Heathers only ally when she got kicked out the contest, so how does getting rid of her at that time help Heather stay in. Makes no sense

Simply put, they realized Beth was the reason for their 3 challenge losing streak, so they ignored Heather and voted for Beth.
Based on that logic, Justin’s elimination could also be justified for that same reason. Though, I still don’t know why anyone would vote off Justin over heather. Seriously, what was the reason for his elimination? They gave none, and out of all people it should’ve been Heather, the one causing all the chaos, to get eliminated. It was purely rigged.

Geoff actually had a better explanation that made sense. In the reality show they are parodying the eliminated people vote on the winner. His personality would've given him an extreme edge in that type of situation.
In the London episode of world tour, Noah and Owen won for their team, but he gave the win to the amazons, what is weird however is the fact that heather was on the bottom there and is likely voted off

I really like the headcanons that guy has. I had never really thought about it but they all make sense. Especially the ones about the love triangle and Geoff.
Duncan trying to show off his relationship to Courtney could also be a way of saying "See? I don't need you. I'm so much happier without you" because their relationship was very toxic.
And if I recall correctly in the episode in TDI in which Bridgette left, Geoff was having issues mantaining his relationship with her and his alliance with the guys, and Duncan in particular was giving him grief for dating her. So it makes sense that Geoff, who is a people person and in some ways a people pleaser, gave up and did what Duncan, who is his friend and was pretty much the leader of the alliance, wanted him to do.
Btw I'm really angry at how the writers just forgot about all these great friendships (Gwen/Leshawna, Duncan/DJ/Geoff, etc).

She was my favorite for same reason. She knew how to play the game. And then there was Alejandro. He knew how to play the game so well that heather somehow became the hero in WT. Also, chris still rigs in later seasons but at least in island he is subtle about it or owns up to it. Want a drinking challenge? Binge watch a later season and take a shot every time he blames his rule changing on “the lawyers”.

This video gave me the headcanon that in Ridonculous Race, Don was inspired by TD to start drama on the show as well, but stopped after the vegans attacked him for making them eat meat.

Did you forget? Heather had an alliance with Duncan (who basically had all the guys voting with him). He even did her punishment of scrubbing the toilet. She used him with the Izzy and Beth votes and dumped him after.
I get that Chris is biased for the views and drama (especially with Heather getting immunity in the basket) but for the most cases she worked her ass of to throw them dumb bitches under the bus.

The show really benefitted from having a consistent villian, so of course they would keep her around so we would keep watching in real life. Its easier to just write around heather than kick her off and have to start with someone else
Ocarinaot 4 Heather was only a villain in Island. Courtney was the villain in Action, Alejandro was the villain in WT, Scott was the villain in ROTI, Mal was the villain in All-Stars, and Sugar was the villain in Pahkitew Island. Chris is the consistent villain overall.

Like you knew Heather, Alejandro, and Scott were the main villains for there seasons. But with this it just switches from character to character.

i can totally get behind this. i was rewatching the season and i was shocked at how many times the contestants had a perfect opportunity to vote heather off and she just...didn’t get booted. heather and owen were way more detrimental in the cooking challenge yet they voted off beth for some reason

Gwen who's made it to the finale in season 1 so knows how to win the game,
Sierra a girl who litterally knows everything about Total Drama,
and Cody for a 5th member.

Alajandro a mastermind himself said the only reason Team Amazon was so dominant was cause they had both Heather and Courtney together and needed to be separated, and 3 out of the finale four was all Team Amazon members as will so there's that

Chris did keep Duncan in the game in World Tour despite him being voted most for elimination, so yeah I think this is pretty likely.
I get infuriated every time I think about how the HECK did Heather stayed until the second to final episode of Total Drama Island despite possibly being one of the most hated characters in the history of animation.
In fairness towards Heather she never dud a reckless, selfish borderline stupid stunt that put everyone at risk akin to Vegeta letting Cell absorb 18 for a better fight or becoming a Majin to make Goku fight him despite that's what brings Buu back . Or Discord pretending to be Grogar and uniting villains to help Twilight. As far as I can tell Heather neve had her own Majin or Grogar moment .
Most of those possible rigged eliminations make a lot of sense, specially Leshawna's (though it wasn't a secret rig, just Chris don't giving a crap about a proper vote in front of everyone). Justin... well, I do remember Heather saying before the campfire ceremony that she convinced a few people to vote Justin off even though he did nothing wrong at the time. However, it was easier to do that because it was early in the game, so sometimes people don't have solid reasons to vote someone off other than "It was random" or "X person told me to vote for Y person". That's why I don't believe his elimination was rigged.
And about Beth, I think the vote might've been something like this:
Gwen voted for Heather
Leshawna voted for Heather
Beth voted for Heather
Heather voted for Beth
Lindsay voted for Beth (because Heather ordered her to)
Owen voted for Beth (while the bad luck idol thingy is not technically Beth's fault, I can see someone like Owen voting for her because she was the one who brought it to the island, maybe even thinking that Beth herself brings bad luck too)
Trent voted for Beth (This is where I can't really give a reason. Maybe same reason as Owen? But can't really back that up. Maybe he DID vote for Heather and Chris rigged it, or maybe he voted for someone else, resulting in a tie and then Chris rigged it again)
Anyway, these are my 2 cents. Theories videos like these are great, specially if they involve Total Drama.

My personal assumption about Bridgette's unfair elimination is the fact that either Heather or Izzy might even swap their votes at the last minute.

Logically I can see how Beth and even Geoff would still get the votes to go home that day but the Justin Bridgette and Izzy votes were super suspect. In a perfect world we would see every vote cast retroactively like in Survivor.
There is a good chance that while the teams were in place, and specifically during that time, people on the Screaming Gophers believed that as long as they didn’t get on Heather’s bad side, she could carry them to the merger. Characters like Cody, Owen, obviously Lindsay and likely Beth as well
To be fair, the statue wouldn't have given bad luck if Beth had been there to listen to the full details of that challenge, and Lindsay was simply because her and Heather were the only ones to cross the finish line and Heather was always more focused on the money than making friends, really wish her and Al were on the Ridunculous Race
Geoff's elimination was totally valid. The contestants knew their popularity would be tested soon enough (And it was - or at least it was supposed to be - in the next episode) meaning Duncan and Heather voted for Geoff. Heather probably could have bullied Owen into doing the same, and it's actually implied that she did. (His resenting of Heather after the elimination, "As if Heather could defeat nice." Implying he knew her strategy) We know Leshawna voted for Heather, so to avoid a tie, that means either Geoff or Gwen voted for Owen as they wouldn't have voted for each other and Owen was the only other person up for elimination except Heather. Leaving the vote at 3 - Geoff, 2 - Heather, 1 - Owen
I have to say the weirdest episode for me was Not Quite Famous, Heather tanks the whole performance for her team by reading Gwen's dairy. Then in the confessional she admits she convinced Lindsay, Beth, Izzy and Owen to vote for Justin with her. Obviously, Gwen will vote Heather along with Leshawna, Trent and Cody. Which is already four votes for her and five for Justin. This only leaves Justin and I believe he would vote Heather too, she failed the challenge and he didn't have any anger towards anyone else. That would be five votes against five and we'd need a tiebreaker. I guess it's possible Justin voted for some random person but my best guess is that Chris played favourites.
yes i knew it! chris wanted to create some drama and she was the perfect plot element for this... literally everybody on the island hated her so it would only make sense for her NOT to make it to the final 3... and leshawna got scrued over for absolutely no reason at all!
You could say that there is confirmation in World Tour in The Am-Ah-Zon Race, Chris says "this is an elimination challenge" and at the end Sierra plots with Gwen and Courtney to get rid of Heather early on. And all but two votes went for her, obviously she wouldn't vote herself out and Cody was at a never ending struggle with Sierra being a little too stalky. He decided to show what everyone thought while voting, even Gwen bribing Chris money in order let Heather off the plane without a parachute.
When all the videos were shown and it looked like Heather was finally getting kicked off the plane, Chris was like "Just kidding, there is no elimination this time around"
Heather stayed for longer, eventhough she was voted off fair and square (as much "fair and square" as you can get in these shows) while having a legitimate reason to be against everybody else just because Chris though it would be fun. He even laughs at the situation he just created
The same thing happens with Courtney when she was also supposed to be eliminated in Sweeden Sour since she got 3 votes from Heather, Cody & Sierra and in that episode it was a fake elimination ceremony/reward challenge.

Geoff's elimination was actually Duncan's doing. He hinted at it the night of Geoff's elimination, during his confessional, something along the lines of "I haven't forgotten what you did a few weeks back, and I have a looooooooong memory!" He's referring to Geoff being too nice to vote Bridgette off, despite the fact he agreed to a guys' pact. That, and his popularity would easily make him a shoo-in if he were to make it to the finale.
He made people vote leshwana out because Heather may get voted off by her! He didnt warn Beth to dont get anything from boney island so they vote Beth instead of Heather.
Chris really be like Grodner in Big Brother.
Ok, let's go through these episodes one by one:
- Not Quite Famous: Heather, Lindsay, Beth, Izzy and Owen voted for Justin. Gwen, Trent, Cody, Leshawna and Justin voted for Heather. That should have caused a 5-5 tie.
- Paintball Deer Hunter: Owen and Leshawna voted Cody for sure. Heather (and Lindsay) either voted for Cody or Beth (and considering her reaction when Beth got her marshmallow, I'd guess the latter.) Cody clearly voted for Heather, and Beth probably did too. That leaves Gwen and Trent to break a 2-2-2 tie. My guess is that one of them voted for Cody and the other for Heather. So another possible tie broken by Chris's vote.
- If You Can't Take the Heat...: Sure, it was the tiki doll that cursed the team, not Beth. But we're not the ones voting. The team, including Owen and Leshawna, probably thought that by voting out Beth, they could break the curse.
- Search and Do Not Destroy: Chris could have easily rigged the game so Heather's key opened the one chest with the marshmallow pass.
- That's Off the Chain!: The rule was... open to interpretation. Chris could have easily interpreted the rule differently to get Duncan or Owen out.
- Hook, Line and Screamer: DJ was eliminated automatically. But since everyone loved DJ, I doubt he would've been voted out. Heck, he's the only original cast member to never be voted out normally. (He took himself out in Action because of Chef's cheating, and he lost as the last member of his team in World Tour.)
- Wawanakwa Gone Wild!: I mean Izzy hit everyone with that tranq gun, but... they could have voted out anyone except Gwen... I just don't know.
- Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon: This episode made very little sense. It feels like this episode was very much left alone from its original Camp TV version. Clue #1 was the whole subplot with Gwen and Geoff (which was originally going to be romantic and throughout the whole season). Clue #2 was Leshawna's confessional in which she states that "If it came down to a popularity contest, I was gonna lose big time. I had to vote off Heather." At first glance, that statement is completely off the mark. But it makes slightly more sense when you consider that the character in Camp TV who would become Gwen was originally named Heather. Clue #3 was the Duncan and Leshawna subplot, where Leshawna suddenly thought Duncan was nice and wanted to be his friend because Courtney told her about Bunny. This obviously couldn't have happened recently since Courtney was voted out 10 episodes prior.
- Haute Camp-ture (also called After the Dock of Shame): Chris could've counted that vote any way he wanted. But he chose to use it to eliminate Leshawna, even though less than half of the eliminated contestants had voted, and some, including the parrot, voted multiple times. Also, little side note: Leshawna was right, when this episode came down to a popularity contest, she did lose big time... by winning big time.

I have some issues with this because I understand where maybe 1 clip with Leshawna where she got voted off. But the part in the beginning where she didn't get voted off. Where all her strategy not Chris. She had Lindsay and Beth's vote for the longest time. so she always had a granted 3 voted on a time of 11 everyone voted off Noah. With Justin she had her, Lindsay and Beth as well as Izzy and Owen 5 of 10 she could of tied in votes against him but I doubt she did even Chris said he found it wrong she was getting it. Izzy got eliminated on her team because she helped the bass win Cody became useless and Beth Cursed her team. When it came to Eva no one liked Eva at all and she was kinda a threat because she is a fierce competitor. Trent's elimination yeah she got immunity. Bridget was due to the guys alliance and Heather being immune. Lindsay was more on Chris not Heather as she tricked Lindsay into letting her come in first she had immunity. DJ was on Dj he bailed on the challenge without Chef being there which made sense he didn't participate in the Challenge or heed to it properly. Duncan made a semi alliance with Heather afterword and had Owens vote against Izzy 3 of the 7. Owen even mentioned that a kiss would cushion the blow. So even if Gwen and Leshawna voted her off she only had 2 votes to 3 Geoff is unaccounted for and Izzy is crazy so probably voted someone else. As for the 6 with Geoff There where 3 voted against him Duncan, Owen and Heather also Leshawna this was due to everyone being scared of a popularity contest if there was the survivor kind of vote they wanted equal playing fields. Actually Owen had times he should of been eliminated like 3 or 4 times. During the time Beth was kicked off he was the soul reason his team lost. During the time Izzy was kicked off also should of had that chance he did literally nothing. When Katie got eliminated he probably would of been voted off if the bass would have won. Heather kept Owen along for his Vote.

Like heather says the show is called total drama not total friendship she’s the only one acting out how the show is supposed to be they try and make you hate her but she is the most interesting and cool even later seasons she was cool still
I can see Leshawna & Duncan noting Geoff as a possible threat to win the game in a jury vote scenario, much more so than Heather, and them voting for him. However, I don't see how Heather managed to reach a majority to out Geoff??
I don't think so...the creators wanted to keep Heather, i Chris was responsable, it would be shown in an episode.
What I think :
Izzy elimination : Heather formed an alliance with Ducan in this episode, he probalbly saved her with his alliance with the boys
Beth elimination : Heather was hated by Leshawna and Gwen but not the others so I guess they voted Beth because what she did was stupid
Justin : Heather explained how she did it
Geoff : it's the one I don't understand, they voted against him because he was too popular and a theat unlike Heather, I guess they changed plans because the others didn't have to vote to chose the winners, even Heather tried to apolagise to Beth and Lindsay just to get their votes
The only time it was rigged was when Trent was eliminated.

I think he also rigged the votes when Cody was eliminated, think about it, by then most of her team hated her and had some responsability in making the team loose, and yes In a wheelchair Cody wouldn't attract as much views as Heather.
Like yeah. That's what reality tv does: keeps the ones making the most drama
When Harold rigged the votes and leshawna got wrongfully eliminated wouldn’t he do something about it? Like when Harold used his ant collection to get heather and leshawna vs heather beef. Wouldn’t he want them to stay for more beef or “action.
If you think about the producers (not the ones in the TV show) are always rigging the game for the winner because they draw them and decide what’s happens.........

Yah I feel that. Heather somehow failed to get voted off even though there were several opportunities where she just so happened to not be the worst person in the moment
Could you possibly do a video going over each episode of a season and try to figure out what the votes were or what their strategies are?
The series has over a 100 episodes, I'm not doing that. Closest you're getting that from me is from the season reviews themselves.

Didn't think people still talked about this but I'm glad I loved this show and seasons 2 through 5 never got to see anything further
Yeah this definitely facts. I noticed very quickly that heather basically always had immunity untill she lost in the end it made sense because shes the antagonist she is the drama of total drama island so anytime the marshmallow came down to her or someone i felt no suspense because i knew she would stay, and I've only watched the show for the first time this year.
An elimination that I've always been annoyed about was Harold's. The thing is, in that episode, Chris said that if Heather refused to cross the finish line, she would automatically be eliminated. If you've seen this episode, you remember what happens next, but by crashing and missing the finish line, I'd say that's more sensible to say that Heather avoided crossing the finish rather than Harold failed to do so because Heather crashed, but why not.
That does make sense and the result of that match was unfairly decided but the gophers still would’ve won and Harold still would have been voted off because of the way Lindsay beat Duncan
the harold rigging courtney out was a BS vote out just because harold hated duncan for what duncan did then rig so duncan leaves. lol but i really hated that he let harold get away with it.
I mean Chris did mention it the next episode, and most of the competitors even the ones who didn't like her sympathize thst she got screwed out the game.
Chris did bring up back mid way through Action and made it where she couldn't get voted off the first night so it kinda wrote an error for Island
Also Chris rigging the vote to keep a contestant in was proven when he keeps Duncan after the whole kiss thing is revealed and while never flat out stated you'd think he or the producers would have taken Mal out of the game after Duncan revels Mal's name and him being the most dangerous inmate in juvie but no nothing of that comes up because they want the drama

I liked Qwen until I saw her let Duncan kiss her. Like she didn’t say no Duncan or something and wasn’t surprised so I do think that they kissed in TDA and Chris decided that he would wait another season to see what would happen
I was always thinking this since I first watched TDI in about 2009 and it’s surprisingly obvious when you think about it
